Another tip from a mom with no idea what I’m doing I took my filter out and shook it til all the water came out then replaced it. Then I wiggled the wire things on the back of the fridge and viola it works again!

Thank you! My situation is that my water dispenser is working, but the ice maker doesn't seem to be getting water to it. I removed the valve, cleaned it with vinegar and ran compressed air through it to see if there was any obstruction. After reassembling everything, I wasn't seeing any water come into the ice maker. I watched your video and used your diagnosis step with the filter and can confirm that im getting water out of the right side of the filter and not the left side. For anyone trying to troubleshoot their fridge, it looks like part of my inlet valve, that controls ice, has died. Will be ordering a new unit to confirm if this is an accurate assumption.

Thanks for this video! My ice maker is not working and I remember seeing a lot of water on my floor and frozen water running down the inside of my freezer door and could not figure out where it came from and now I know this is more than likely what I am dealing with! Thanks again because I was thinking I needed a new ice maker.

What if water only comes out when you press the left valve but not the right? My ice maker is not working . Could the filter be the cause?

Could have frozen reservoir. If so blow dryer can thaw out then recheck.Also a kinked line could obstruct the flow, before changing inlet valve.

My dispenser control board is bad, how do you get the cover off to replace it.

My frigidaire dispensor augur will not turn the ice. The ice dispensor only on pushes water thru the water . And the water dispensor switch turns the what sounds like a mort for ice. Nor does my light work on the panel. Its never been used but the warranty is expired. Im thinking a new panel but wondering if i should try to refigure the wiring and or harness. Any tips i could use on my journey to the center of my gf's world so i can get some peace...on ice. Lbvs

Why is my water coming out though the left valve up top and not the bottom host ?? Can someone help me I took the filter out and when I push the pen 🖊️ like you said in the second whole to the left water came out instead of coming out of the door like is supposed to ??? Please Help not sure what to do in this case 😢

My Frigidaire is creating ice and dispensing water its not dispensing the crushed or solid ice. What could be the issue? When we press we can hear the motor but nothing comes out.

Is the water filter out safe to drink & how often should I change the filter?

Fixed mine by only taking the ice maker out and turned the fridge off for 30 min It was frozen.

I get water to the filter when I take the filter out I can see water is coming back it either backfills or leaks behind the fridge but water isn’t getting to the dispenser or ice maker

We found the the water hose was kinked now we are getting water and waiting to see if it makes ice

Hi, I got an LG refrigerator and the issue I'm having is ice maker is not working although I get water dispensed at the door fine. I don't believe ice maker is getting water, the tube's end where water comes into the ice maker has a corroded tip. I put a pin inside the tube and didn't feel any obstruction though. Could it be a bad inlet water valve? Thanks!

I tried the plunger technique and I had water coming out of one of the valves and the other not so much.

I replaced the fridge water filter and now The water just dribbles out. If I take out the new filter and try the dispenser I get water out. Any ideas?

Have a fridgidaire fridge I had to push the water button while pushing in with pen to get water out behind the filter

The main valve doesnt put water to the filter unless your calling for it on the lever for your cup. Or if its trying to make ice

What if I punch one hole and it shoots water but when I punch the other hole no water comes out?

I am not getting water flow when I press the valves behind the water filter, but when I press the one on the right and press for water, I am getting water spilling out from that area. Anyone with an idea of what that might be caused by? Obstruction? Or is it still the same fix as he did?
