Another side effect of using Seretide inhaler for more than 2 weeks is insomnia. I used Seretide recently for almost 4 weeks to cure my Bronchitis and now find that I have tremendous sleeping problems. Impossible to sleep without some pill...
Hi Doctor! thank you for the videos I have lived with my airways closing daily for about 10 years, my questions is if Seratide has anything to do with weightgain? I've heard people say inhalers make you fat but not sure about Seratide. My best!
You left out Glaucoma which is a dangerous side effect of those steroid inhalers which in this case the benefit does NOT outweigh the risks…I know because I have been diagnosed
There are several side effects of steroid inhalors from physical such as dry mouth, thrush, sore throat, nose bleeds, and mental side effects such as reslessness, anxiety, nerviousness, agitation, and even psychosis which is rare.
I am taking my seretide inhaler for about 2 yrs. I often forget to take it every night and sometimes 2 days is it bad?I also think to better stop taking seritide inhaler. Is it okay Doc,?
Can i ask a question doctor? I went to the pulmonologist before because I cough at the middle of the night, and shortness of breath. I have respiratory allergy. And the medication was given to me is vetoline and seretide. I have chest tightness and shortness of breath and cough but sometimes i wheeze sometimes not. I have bad allergies, i have pet, pollen, dust allergy.
Hello Doctor, I hope you notice my comment. I havw asthma since birth but it gone when I'm around 11-17 years old then it came back 1 month before my 18 birthday. From 18-24 years old Im being admitted yearly. My last admission was year 2019 (Diagnosed as Bronchial Asthma in acute exacerbation and they prescribe me to use inhaler but i did not follow and just tryng to be healthy)and gone for almost 5 years. Now, I'm 29. My asthma came back last 2 weeks. My doctor told me to use 2x a day as a maintenance. But I forgot to ask my doctor huhu. Can I inhale diskus seretide when it flares up? Or just follow the doctors intructions? To use 6am-6pm method. What If I have attacks in between? Can I still use it? Huhu pls answer and thank you. Godbless.
Depending to how far expired. Next few to several months there shouldn’t be much of a difference. (Depends on storage when not using keep in darker out if the direct sun and 30deg Celsius or less ) where it will begin to make slight difference maybe not working at full efficiency meaning it may be less potent is at almost a year post expiration and further on so.
I could sing very well before i had steroid inhalers but now my voice has completely changed I won't suggest any of the patients to take these inhalers Doctors prescribe these medicines though they are aware of the harmful effects
