Support the neck and head with a pillow.
Position your body close enough to the wall that you can push the foot back without extending the low back.
Push the leg back into the barrier and hold while simultaneously pressing down into your bottom leg using your hand.
Make sure you are breathing throughout the exercise!
If able, move the foot up the wall inch by inch to challenge more abduction of the hip.
Repeat as able/ recommended.
