Thank you, must admit Sideshow did amazing job. In fact this figure has gone on my list of favourites 😍 Even could be looking at getting more from this line. As soon as I saw what's coming up for preorder, I put a deposit on it straight away. So glad I did. My very first Sideshow figure was the Snake Plissken figure, not impressed. But had it custom up a bit and looks OK now. But it did put me off a bit. But credit where credit is due, Sideshow did amazing job on this.

Well you never know they just might. As all the ones they have done are selling very well. As for me I'd rather have this one than any others. But I've got Blondie and others on preorder.
Bit late to the party on this piece Todd, first chance I have had to watch the video and it doesn’t disappoint, full disclosure I am of an age where I grew up with Clint Eastwood films and have always been a fan it’s no exaggeration to say he is a living movie icon and this film is one of my favourites so I was always going to love this piece. I do not own any sideshow pieces so have no frame of reference for them so can only form an opinion on what I see. Tremendous figure what’s not to love they have knocked it out the park tailoring and weathering is top notch and if it gets Clint’s seal of approval what more do you need , congrats on this stellar piece, really pleased you like him so much👍thanks for a great video and as always looking forward to whatever may be next , stay well👍

😎😎 Good film very nice figure ,nice touch of revolving pistol. Was telling TK421 thought Cad Bane was based on Iron Maiden Stranger in a Strange land 1986 . Went to Clints restaurant the Hogs Breath Inn @Carmel but didn't see 👀him told some friends about it ,they went and met him 😠😠😂😂.
Nice figure. Clint is my favorite actor, I have his figure too, but in Redman's version of Dirty Harry. But he doesn't look bad with that beard either, cool :)
Thats really good to hear William. I knew you would like him. I just got the Sideshow Blondie the other day and better than I expected. But to me the Preacher is so much better. Just waiting for the delivery of Present Toys Blondie so I can do a comparison video. ( hopefully it comes today). As for the Preacher it's just way put there. Thank you for letting me know what you think of the figure, as I'd like more to tell me. It's so much better in person and can not wait for other videos to come out for collectors reaction. ( just watching one now actually lol) So happy you finally have him in your collection bud.
To be honest am seeing all sorts of different prices. The Preacher is definitely a top figure, and my hat off to sideshow for it. Yes a Josey Wales is a must and great one to have in any collection. Dammit! I stopped getting Sideshow figures too, but this one looks fuckin’ amazing! Thats Clint through and through right there. Beauti-fuckin’-ful figure! The Preacher at the moment is in a case in my bedroom ( until I sort out the collection room with the new display case's coming end of the month 😀
I have this one and the man with no name, the preacher is by far my favorite. The man with no name doesn’t look as much like Clint to me. I have the outlaw Josie Wales ordered, it looks like it will be awesome! I will also be ordering the unforgiven figure. Great video!
Cheers Matt, yes I agree with you!! The Preacher is so much better and one of my favourites in my collection. I keep looking at pictures of Josey Wales and I can't help notice his head looks a bit big for his body. Maybe it's just me, but I will wait on him. I quite like the Harry Callahan with the brown 3 piece suit and sunglasses. Might go for that one. But can't wait for the upcoming pictures of William from Unforgiven. That one I know I just want.
@RecklessDemonX I saw the Sideshow video the other week and my thoughts... Wow I want one!! So much better than the original pictures. I know a supplier that can get me one once in stock. So yes am definitely getting one. Already looking for a display and custom stand for him. What's your thoughts on him?
As awesome as it is to get a Preacher figure for the first time ever (even with the makes no sense side-opened mouth), it's awesome to get a much better Josey Wales...so I can officially retire my Redman Toys one wearing that very inaccurate blue shirt with a almost top hat looking hat that's propped on top of their head - like an unknown issue all the Redman figures had. Guess the Redman Toys Stranger figure from High Plains Drifter (w/it's deformed smushed in eyes probably from the molding process & hat not resting all the way down on their head) is gonna be the odd man out; cause I *definitely* don't see Sideshow making a figure of that glorious character. High Plains Drifter is my favourite Eastwood western; but just too controversial these days to make an official product of.
It would be great if they did more films of his. I might even get Josey Wales figure. High plains Drifter would be great, but only see it if the one's they have done sell well enough.
Hi there, I have that one as well. To have both in hand and in my opinion the Preacher head sculpt is better. Don't get wrong Blondie is good, but Preacher is better. Filming them you never does it justice. Ok I did a video on Blondie with a custom base and Backdrop and looks brilliant. Sideshow did a great job and looking forward to getting William Munny soon. So mine's on its way from Sideshow, and it's amazing that you're *still* the only reviewer of this figure. I mean you got it crazy early, but it's a tad odd now it's full-on out and no new reviews. But yeah yeah, I get it, it's not a HT disney property item, so no one cares lol.
@user-gf4lx9ol8z wow, I knew these Clint Eastwood legacy collection figures were going up in price on ebay but that's just insane. I paid just a small faction of that for this figure. The video I did on Josey wales figure I did say these were going up in price, but I never thought it's already gone up that much.
Hi Tom, I have heard from quite a few collector's saying about Blondie. Yes this head sculpt is fantastic, and even better in hand. The figure has even gone in my favourite list
Sideshow has made some terrific figures in the past (in amongst their mediocre efforts). I much prefer their Battle on Naboo Darth Maul and ROTJ Darth Vader figures to the Hot Toys counterparts - DeanKnight333 has made some fine videos illustrating this. While I'm not all that keen on Sideshows Harry Callaghan, they went too far with the caricature look (the same goes for Blondie's 1/4 statue) and the hair lacks definition, Blondie turned out very well, and this Pale Rider figure looks fantastic.
Point taken, some of there Star wars are ok. But my first figure from them I was not impressed. But I do think they have this one spot on, and now in my favourite list. Thank you so much for watching and giving your thoughts as I love that. Much appreciated.
@@toddscollectibles980 Oh don't get me wrong, I agree with your viewpoint. Sideshow are generally a notch or two down from Hot Toys when it comes to quality, quantity - when it comes to the amount of extras (and their uninspired bases) and value. On that last one, I'm paying more for my Blondie than what I am for Hot Toys DX figures. I was just noting a few exceptions. Thanks for the classy reply and keep up the good work.
@@francoisdemangeot6096 Yes, I still have my ESB Vader (and still love it) but the SS ROTJ Vader is very special. The "portrait" is superb, the height and proportions are excellent, the build quality is solid and the materials feel like they'll endure. The light-up feature is well implemented too.
@dangiambrone7350 not got you wrong at all. You made a great point, and look at sideshow figures in a different way. This is what I need a few more telling more details in this hobby. None of us know everything as that would be impossible lol. Anyway you have a good one!!!
It's been over a month since I fully watched your review, so pardon me good sir if I don't remember you mentioning the mouth issue. Every time I look at this damn thing, I see the side-opened lips as if they're grasping an invisible thermometer. Since Preacher didn't smoke, why in _the_ hell did Sideshow sculpt a 300 fuckin' dollar figure with a slightly opened mouth?? Am *_I_* the jackass that doesn't remember the scenes from Pale Rider where Preacher's smoking? And if that is the case, where's the included cigar? Even though it's been many years since I've seen the film, I'm pretty sure his character was about abstinence...so he did no smokin' and drinkin' and fornicatin' like in High Plains Drifter.
Lol....no he did not smoke. But his lips being like that is the face Clint Eastwood always pulled. Like he looked at the bad guys with discussed and the sun in his eyes. As for me I think sideshow did a great job on this figure. From what I heard and seen a lot better than the man with no name " Blondie " He really is so much better in hand and now one of my favourites.
Hi Dean, I can't disagree as not got Blondie. The Preacher is so much better in hand as the video does not do it justice. But I love to see the Sideshow Blondie in hand to see. Thats why I ask if you have him?
I was going to get it it. But i normaly hold off till i see a few video's under certain light and so forth. I've seen the blondie figue and i think the sculpt is way off. the dirty harry looks better. But from what i can see so far. The preaccher figure is the closet look to clint you can get. I'm definitely buying it. Have a look at a few video's of blondie and you will see for yourself. But it's a pass for me. @@toddscollectibles980
