Did it work? I have the exact same issue. Should you puncture the area then patch it or patch over the bulge?

@@maker7363 the best way to fix this would be to deflate the tire enough so the bulge is minimized. From there, place a patch over the area that was bulging and let the adhesive cure. After the adhesive is cured, inflate the tire and you should be in good shape.
