I will leave my review hear because I bought these boots based off this review. I have had them for 5 months. I commute 110 miles a day 5 days a week and I have done 4 track days with them. These boots are awesome. I considered the vortice, but I did not need a full fledged race boot. These boots are true to size and well constructed. The ankle support is fantastic and I can feel plenty of feedback from the bike. These also had no break in time. I had no problems waiting for them to break in. Also, something I never ever considered but are amazing are the vents. I dont notice the airflow at lower speeds like while lane splitting, but when I get going, I can feel the airflow very well and it is fantastic. They are also very easy to open and close even with a glove on. The only draw back to these are how slick the sole gets when they get wet. These are not rain boots, and that being said I have gotten stuck in a few downpours in them. My feet remain perfectly dry, but when the soles are wet, they are slick as hell. Very easy to slip on. But otherwise I love these boots. Great value for the money.
Veronika S How do you like these for off the bike, like grabbing a burger or beer, but not necessarily for walking around at work. I wore the Alpinestars SMX-6 and they were comfortable, but these seem more protective. Trying to balance protection with comfort, for street riding.
These are good for short walks. This past memorial day, I rode west coast thunder and foolishly forgot a set of shoes so I also walked all around the concert venue with these on. They are pretty nice. I would say they are better than most race boots for walking about. One thing I forgot to add to the initial review is that after getting the boot, but a little lubricant in the ankle support piece area otherwise you get that squeak, which when you do walk around in them is annoying as heck,
@@novicetheaf quite a narrow fit. I'm a size 9 , found them too tight around the toe width, I returned them for a size 10.5, a much better fit width wise , although a little too long but they are now a lot more comfortable. I'd say get a size above your regular size. I'm also in Ireland. Tipp.
These boots look more protective than the Alpinestars SMX-6 and the Dainese Nexus. But Alpinestars are CE rated 1 and Dainese CE 2. Is the CE rating just not listed on website? Just want very comfortable boots off the bike, that have good protection.
How are this compare to the dainese torque D1?Are they in the same level like for street and track? I’d like to get a pair that will do good in both and wanted a comfy fit. Thanks
The Dainese Torque D1 are a step up from the Sidi Roarr Boots. Both can work for street and track, but the Dainese Torque D1 Boots offer a bit more protection. -DrewZilla
The Pumas do provide a little bit more flexibility if you have aftermarket rearsets. For most stock peg placement, though, both would be fine. -DrewZilla

I own a Honda NC700X and would like your recommindation on boots for casual riders (weekend rider) that offer good protection, ventelation, easy to walk with and are wide fit. Thank you
Mitsaras Giannikis No, the Sidi Roarr Boots are not waterproof. For a waterproof option, consider the Sidi Cobra Gore-Tex Boots. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sidi-cobra-gore-tex-boots
+Cik Lan The Sidis are a street/track boot with a medium width. The TCX R-S2 EVOs are a pure race-level boot with a slightly wider width. The benefit of the Sidis are all the replaceable parts, whereas the benefit of the TCX boots are the Precise Air Fit System. -DrewZilla
