Sidi is excellent when it comes replacing soles. While not all soles are bolt on like some of their pro models, often times a cobbler or Sidi can replace the soles when they wear out. ~Ali
Ordered these boots from Revzilla about 2 months ago. Fast shipping like always. LOVE the boots. They provide great protection and are very comfortable to ride in. Easily adjusted. Took me a couple of rides to get used to riding with the new boots but once they were broken in they felt great. These are my first pair of riding boots and I highly recommend them. Of course order them from revzilla for the quick shipping and to earn that zilla cash ;)
These run the boundary of trackday vs aggressive street boots. I you need something a bit more comfortable, but with race grade protection, check out the TRQ series boots from Dainese. -CK
Hey, he is wearing a rubber band on his wrist. Not sure if that is what you are seeing. Its hard to tell what it is in the low-res player. The closest thing to a Halo helmet I can think of is the Icon Variant. -CK
I like the fact sidi makes everything replaceable. you crash in any other brand and you're stuck with all scratched up or busted parts and possibly have to buy a new pair just becasue you can't replace parts like these st boots.
I live in Belfast Northern Ireland and if you know the seasons here when it rains it's almost everyday for a while 🤣 but I was recommended these boots was also told they were waterproof too and they definitely are not waterproof. My left boot let's in water more than the right for some reason 🤷🏻♂️ but yeah if ride in wet weather I don't recommend. In the summer oh hell yeah. Don't get me wrong they are a very good motorcycle boot but I was advised totally wrong when I explained the type of riding conditions I ride in.
I'm cross shopping the Sidi ST and the TCX S-RACE. I want the ankle brace protection, but which one is easier to walk in is the question. I also like the less armored look of the TCX and the cheaper price
Are there any manufacturers still putting a shifter on the right side, or is the shift pad on the right boot just for symmetry with the left? It seems strange to make the race boots right shift compliant to cater to the handful of vintage bikes that had a right side shifter.
+vwr32jeep Some companies just like symmetry. Plus, if they're on both boots, it works for the vintage guys too! Also, I've wondered that if the shift panels were only on the left boots, you'd have to worry about the factory occasionally incorrectly sewing the panel on the wrong side! With panels on both, that risk is eliminated. -DrewZilla
What happened to your wrist bro? Looks like hardcore surgery :( on a topic completely unrelated, do you have a helmet in mind that looks similar to the ODST from halo ? My ultimate helmet is the schuberth sr1 but I cant afford it yet.
Hey. Will it be comfortable to use them for long distance trip? Like a main shoes during travelling? I'm really care about protection so that's why I liked this one boots. But will I be able to walk with them whole week? Before I had Sidi Vertigo and it was fine. Thank you.
They are a bit bulkier than the Vertigos but offer more protection. I personally would carry a pair of lightweight shoes to wear off the bike, but if you were ok with the Vertigos, you might be ok with these. -DrewZilla
The Sidi ST Boots are probably the best sport boots for accommodating large calves, as they have a lot of calf adjustment. The height differs over the size range, so it's difficult to provide an exact height for you. However, they're our go-to boots for larger calves, so they should work for you. -DrewZilla
The regular ST aren't waterproof, so your feet will get wet in the rain. For good waterproof sport boots, consider the Sidi Cobra Gore-Tex, Dainese Torque D1 Out Gore-Tex, Alpinestars SMX Plus Gore-Tex, and TCX S-Speed WP. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/sidi-cobra-gore-tex-boots *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-torque-d1-out-gore-tex-boots *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/alpinestars-smx-plus-gore-tex-boots *www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/tcx-s-speed-wp-boots
+RevZilla thank you so much for the quick reply. I was wondering if the rain will cause damage to the boot ? I certainly won't be riding in rain for a wry long time so my feet getting wet is not a problem. Will water damage the boots ? That's my only concern
