For a better "medical bay" mode; move the arms out as per instructed, leave the shin panels open and the leg side panels forward.

The extensive remolding really is a wonderful surprise! Even the robot modes' big hollow back was remolded too!

It's not often that I get my hands on a Transformers figure before you get to review it. Also, a Legends Class figure (Generations Swerve is a good example) can fit comfortably in the Doc Bot's medbay mode.

The medical bay mode reminds me of the G1 combiner team leaders' third modes.

About those effects parts: since Ratchet's roket launcher has 2 ports, one on either side you can plug blast from Omega Suprime in the back port and blast from Jetfire/Skyfire(whatever you wanna call it) in the front and you'd get like full on roket launching effect with fire blast in the front and blast with smoke in the back...

Since in the Medical Bay Mode he still has his Wheels on the ground.... I think its actually for situations like "He needs repairs NOW but we cant stay here so I'll repair him WHILE we get out of here!"

As soon as I saw a post on a transformers group on Facebook of people getting the rachet my guy who works at Walgreens and orders the toys messages me with a picture that he got em in stock. I ran my happy ass to the Walgreens were he works at, since its 5 blocks away from my apartment. He saved me 2 of em. He says what you ran here I said no I power walked LOL🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂

Tbh I really like the medical bay mode. I can picture Ratchet pulling up to an injured Micromaster and unfolding to do emergency surgery on the field. Hell, maybe Ironhide could do something similar, but instead of being a med bay, he's a weapon's rack (a blooooosh rack, if you will).

that ratchet bulkiness and robot mode really look alike in cartoons. i like the double blooooosh tho.. 😂

I was fortunate to find one of these for retail at a Walgreens here, because I have to admit that I wouldn't have wanted to pay the markup for the scalpers on eBay. He's a great toy, but then so's Ironhide. Just a big chunk of bot.

Ah ok question answered. Saw lots of him at various walgreens and was wondering if he was an exclusive. Gotta pick him up now to make sure i dont miss out since its stupid hard to get exclusives from walgreens at times

So the medical-bay mode is official? The fan made base modes for the Combiner Wars voyager class figures look more like bases than this one as a medical-bay. On the good side it's nice to see that they made more remoulding than just the head.

Good to see Ironhide not in an incapacitated state in the final opinion of this toy. Must be because there was a medic on scene.

I wonder what calculations made Hasbro to do: - extensive remold (Ratchet) to make fairly known character and sell it as exclusive to one store chain, - simple retool+repaint (Crosshairs) to make not-so-well-known character and sell it everywhere. Since it seems box sets/exclusives/Selects are scarcely available in EU (as pricey imports), my only chance to get this figure is to hope he'll share the fate of other Walgreens exclusive (TR Brainstorm), so he'll be available in abundance (and dirt cheap) at eBay.

I picked this figure up a month ago at the local EB Games. It's a nice figure. Not a fan of the nose on the face, I prefer the noseless TFPrime face, but still a decent sculpt. The accessories are a great addition to the figure.

I have my Ironhide and Ratchet in the fanmode of their G1 toy forms. Its so cool that they can do that.

In Canada I know they're selling Ratchet at EB Games. Was lucky to grab this guy when I did.

He looks really nice, actually. If I pick him up I’ll have to repaint his head to match the “red helmet/white crest” scheme from the Marvel comic though.

I like the look of the repair bay, it’s just too damn small for most Transformers.

I'm hoping to find him this weekend! Fantastic figure, I'm amazed how much the remolded on him.

I mean he's an ambulance and a field medic, so the medibay thing kinda makes sense, I can see him becoming something like that rather than a vehicle to give better cyber-medical assistance.

I still don’t know how to display mine. Did he ever use that missile launcher in the cartoon? I know Ironhide did, but I can’t remember if Ratchet did.

I'm surprised they didn't make a siege Bumblebee anyone else or is it just me thinking that

So, first autobot deluxe I was definetively getting and it's a US exclusive of some chain I haven't even heard of for Hasbro knows how long? *sigh* Funny thing is that other than Prime and Bumblebee Ratchet (or "Doc" here in Italy) is the one Autobot I really remember liking in the cartoon when I was little, at the moment my only certain future buys for siege/earthrise are basically the four main Decepticons, Rung, Ratchet and Prime and I'm not even sure which version of Prime to get (I have the Legends KBB one, but I want a normal scale prime). Getting back into Transformers after a quarter of a century is more difficult than I thought.

I have him I like him but I wish he came a light bar like Prowl for his ambulance mode

The medical bay mode… take the top half off, paint it grey, and 3D print a more bed looking part… then throw prime on there and suffer DISCLAIMER: that’s just me looking at it I don’t own a 3D printer or ratchet but that’s what I picture at first glance 😅

The leg flaps don't hold for me either. Even when I transform from robot to vehicle, the left flap doesn't close properly and comes out. The toy feels cheap. I give it a 7 out of 10.
