What more could anyone ask for? Affordable prices, good quality ingredients and in Vegas. Another well done showcase for this establishment. Your efforts are always appreciated!
Yes! Siegel's ranks really highly on my list of places right now. They really have it all going for them and the fact that I can eat anything I had in this video at 4 in the morning is so insanely awesome. Happy that you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching!
Value here is fantastic! I will eventually show everything! If it's a restaurant on the strip or downtown, they will be featured on my channel at some point in the next 7-8 years. Thanks for watching!
The prime rib plate looked great. My favorite. Your description of the spaghetti was a masterpiece, you explain stuff so well. I don’t know where that comes from.
Interesting spot. I liked all that you ordered. One thing really turned me off and that was the quarter sheet pans they served the burgers and sandwich on. Whaaatt! Karla in Cali. lol.
I love 24 hour eateries in Vegas! Totally leaning into that _City That Never Sleeps_ vibe! I love the _Rat Pack_ vibe the place has too! It's great that most of the dishes are homeruns, especially having that prime rib special that actually tastes great! I love a good tuna melt, so I'm glad this one met with your approval! Another great video Shin!
Shin we all appreciate your honesty in these food reviews there are so many dishonest people out there that don't tell us what they really think and yes the food looked good we'll catch you on the next video.
Absolutely, if I'm downtown and I don't know what I feel like eating, I think I'd be at Siegel's getting the prime rib special. The price was incredible for what they're serving. Thanks for watching!
Wow! $16.95 for a prime rib dinner? It looked so delicious. I love diner food. There is something about the atmosphere in a diner that makes all the food taste great. I have an special place in heart for diners as my mom used to take me to them as a kid. I know your parents owned a restaurant too. What type of food did they offer? Thanks for the video!
Yes! I love diners also! Though my parents never owned any kind of restaurant. The prime rib special here is so good! I was very impressed. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin I guess I got that wrong. I went back and looked at what you said in an earlier video and comment. You said your parents were small business owners, not owners of a restaurant. Sorry about that. Thanks for your comment!
The prime rib looked amazing ! Breakfast items looked great, too ! Is your sis camera shy ? Would be nice to see her in a video with you . Thank you for the honest review as always ❤
Yes, the food was terrific! We really enjoyed ourselves. And yes, my sister is quite camera shy and does not want to be in the videos. Maybe some time in the future. Thanks for watching Ashley!
Round one breakfast the waffle round two the tuna melt round three the prime rib and the cream sickle just looked amazing thank you once again for a great video and amazing food ❤😊
The bounty of food you order to try speaks my language!! I Love that!! Thank you!! I went to a hot dog place in front of one of the casinos down there...I had a chili dog, and after I was finished it, I went back to buy two more...they were simple, just chili on a hot dog ,and man it was so good!! This video made me think of it for some reason. Thank you again John!!
If you're talking about American Coney Island, I agree, it's solid downtown for a good chili dog. Happy to hear you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching GL!
this is a great review ,i love this restaurant i love the atmosphere and decor the food looked terrific,i loved that croissant bacon, egg ,and cheese, platter i would have loaded the hash browns with cheese and onions hot sauce and ketchup , but the food looked great and priced extremely reasonable for las vegas
I'm a resident of Las Vegas since 1995. I seen the prices go up each year but I still love Siegel 1941. I live in Cambodia now but always come to Las Vegas and El Cortez 😊. Thanks for the honestly too.
Totally agree. Great place for great food, anytime, at reasonable prices. I'm a sucker for a good loco moco and downtown has that for sure. Thanks, Shin!
Hey Shin, just getting into your vids, now subscribed! 🎉Thanks for featuring Siegels 41. It’s a fave, especially for the liver and onions (gotta try). I won $500 off the two deck table after their liver dinner! Love you man, looking for more
I love these types of stories! The first time I paid for a Michelin Star meal it was off a random slot pull win! Happy to hear you're enjoying the videos! Thanks for watching!
IMHO, the prime rib special is one of the best in downtown. I had that the last time I was there, and it did not disappoint. Also good amount of beef for the price.
Yes it was so good! I was not expecting it to be that good for the price. I was expecting something more akin to the prime rib you get at Tony Romas but it was so much better. Big fan of Siegels now! Thanks for watching!
Wow...that dreamcicle looked so refreshing 🥰 The food looked very good. I will have to remember to check this place out during my next trip. Thanks for sharing. I ❤ your videos 💯 👍
When I lived in Las Vegas the El Cortez didn't have a 24-hour eatery. At all the Jackie Gaughan Hotels the food wasn't the main reason you went there. Jackie Gaughan lived in a suite with his family atop the El Cortez Hotel. Will have to try that restaurant next time I go to Las Vegas. Don't like spam. Good you mentioned it. Will stay away from fried rice. The content was very good. Now that I've seen a few of your videos I will subscribe.
Our most recent trip to Vegas earlier this year we stayed at the El Cortez which wasn't bad for the price and we LOVED being able to go to Siegel's any time of the day or night. Their breakfast was a great start to the day and it was always so convenient to be able to grab dinner there after a long day of walking around. I'm a prime rib girl and for the price it was very good. IMO there are many prime ribs in Vegas that are much more expensive that aren't as good. Also, we were pleasantly surprised to find that on Wednesdays they have a 1/2 off limited menu for 55 and older. Sadly, when we were there they were sorely understaffed so it was a long wait to get our food but the server (although overworked) was pleasant and efficient and the food was wonderful.
I'm glad you agree with me on the prime rib! For the price, it's outstanding! I did not know about the senior special but any specials at Siegels and I can see why they would be crazy busy. Thanks for watching!
Shin you're really growing on me. Would love to see you try Bob Taylor's Ranch House in the NW. I hear it's not so great anymore but it's a classic Vegas spot where Elvis used to hang out, etc.
Happy to hear I'm making an impression! I've thought about Bob Taylor's but I've also heard it's not that great. I'll have to think on that one. Thanks for watching!
That looks like the typical restaurant I imagine when I think of Vegas. Very nice. Food looked good but that Loco Moco looked amazing. Never had it but I'd definitely order it from there.
I am very picky about loco moco but El Cortez looks pretty good. I would like to try that one out. The spaghetti and meatball, I kinda hate when places will use the thin noodles over the regular spaghetti noodles so I would probably pass on that. Overall I'll probably have to check out El Cortez one day.
Hi Shin! Love your latest Vid as ever. Do you ever get down to Jerry's Nugget? We discovered it two vacations ago and now we are there several times a trip, out from the UK. The coffee shop and cakes are great and solid food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its that good that i n a way I do not want you to put it in lights on the map. On the other hand the casino staff are great and the staff in the coffee shop look after me and my friends like I was a high roller. (Not as am a Navy Pensioner at 63 years lol) I think they are worthy of a visit. Give em a go if you have time. Good food and great value.
Yes, I have been to Jerry's Nugget's coffee shop and I've had good meals there. I vlogged the prime rib though it wasn't that great when I went, but everything else was very good. I like it there. Thanks for watching!
Very true! But one might say that's not the point of the video. I just call it like I taste it out of the kitchen with no modifications. Would they season it differently if I ordered it to go for my room?
Good to know there is a 24/7 place where I can grab a loco moco. My usually 24/7 spot is the Lux Cafe, good to know there are some nice options out there
Yes, on the strip I think the Lux Cafe at Venetian is one of the best places to hit. Downtown, I think Siegel's has become my go to for late night eats. Thanks for watching!
Shin, just as I was about to bag on you for that same shirt 😂, I couldn't. Cuz you had me on those wrong noodles! Why would they use a thin noodle for all that hearty sauce and meatballs? And then the Creamsicle. OmG. YUM!
I was disheartened with the noodles because the sauce was so good. The creamsicle was terrific. Lol, I own 40 of these shirts. I bought them in bulk off of Amazon years ago so I wear them almost daily. Thanks for watching!
Yes, I never request modifications for videos and want to taste the food exactly how the chef intends for the dish to be prepared. I typically get hashbrowns well done as well but never for videos. Thanks for watching!
Hi Shin your content is amazing but I have to ask is it a coincidence or are you purposely trying to sound like Derek from All you can Vegas another great guy it's a great Vegas voice regardless
Purely coincidence I'd say. I don't have enough brain cells to talk about food this way and emulate someone else at the same time lol. Thanks for watching!
Ummm, that was an obscene amount of food! I'd like to see a video of what you do with that afterwards. As always you deliver a forthright evaluation of your meal(s), thanks.
$10 for a bowl of SOUP, $7 for fries, $9 for onion rings ... in a casino, NO!! NONE of the other menu PRICES looked appetizing as well ... I am definitely going to need a FOOD COMP here 😋
No, what you see me eat in the video is mostly what I consume during the video. I take the rest home and eat leftovers for a day or two afterwards. Thanks for watching!
Honestly, nothing too crazy. They all have been very hospitable and accommodating. I tell them upfront that I'll be ordering in multiple courses and a lot of food and to prepare the take away boxes so they know it's coming lol. Thanks for watching!
What if someone is ordering takeaway for their room and they do not have salt and pepper available to them? You say complaining to complain. I say informing to inform.
@@VegaswithShin because they were leftovers. Mind you, I just think your criticism of the lack of seasoning in a casual dining restaurant is unfair. If it were a fine dining restaurant, I would agree with you. Otherwise, your review was well done. All I am saying was that was being a little too picky. Mind you, I have one son that is a Chef and another that is a restaurant manager. When my son want to go to culinary school, I told him under no circumstances, I better not find out about him screwing around with customers food. So I am well aware what can happen in a kitchen. And yes they sometimes screw up. Overall, I enjoy watching your reviews.
Welcome to the channel! I'm happy to know you're enjoying the videos! I like to keep things friendly but I definitely have my moments lmao. Thanks for watching!
