Hello viewers and welcome to this tutorial of Siemens Totally Integrated Automation, where we try to use Kepware KepServer Data Loger to log data from PLCSim into an Microsoft Access Database, if you don't know how to use the NetToPLCSim, KepServer OPC, PLCSim or TIA portal you can check the previous tutorials in the playlist below and if you have any question don't hesitate to ask. Like reading data? I think it's possible from the HMI, or try looking for a variable table to put on wincc...

@@SurtrTech Thank you for your reply. Actually, I want TIA portal logic to get values from the logged data file. Is it possible like var1=0 at t=1 sec and var1=1 at t=2 sec. Likewise can TIA portal use this logged file readings? Thank you

@@manzarkazmi3658 On the wincc you can add the Trend control or online table control and you can consult them there to check your values. Importing and reading old data, I'm sure it's possible but I've never tried it. If you want to read data in real time and store it you can call it from the server and add it to your trend control

@@SurtrTech @8:18 when you select the database, for me it only shows file type "mdb". After all configuration when I try to connect, It gives me error "Error Data Logger Plug-in Log group 'kazmi1215' - unable to connect to data source 'kazmi1215' (Reason: 'Data source name not found and no default driver specified'). Can you please tell me the possible mistake and about your version of Kepserverex? Thank you
