This was a short overnight backpacking trip in Arizona's Sierra Ancha Wilderness. This area is just northeast of Roosevelt Lake. Fun fact: Famous conservationist and author of The Monkey Wrench Gang, Edward Abbey, spent a great deal of time in the Sierra Anchas as a fire lookout. On this trip I just hiked up the Parker Creek Trail up to high elevation, connected with the Rim Trail and followed it a few miles. I end up bailing from a short loop plan due to lack of time and severe bushwhacking. Still had fun. Thanks for watching!
