Sierra Boggess & Andrew Lloyd Webber - Love Never Dies (Live 2010.02.26) - From the new musical of ALW "Love never dies", a sequel to "The Phantom of the opera"
You really can tell how much he respects her. Especially when you watch her performance of "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" for the Classic Brit Awards in 2012 and the camera cuts to him with tears in his eyes watching her admiringly.
That right there. That's my biggest dream. To be on stage, singing anything PotO-related, with ALW accompanying me. This video's getting re-watched a thousand times by me, so I can live vicariously through Sierra, until I can make that dream come true!
34thstreetman She's a trained opera singer... FOR SURE... her voice is just in MUCH better shape here... then it was in the Phantom movie... I personally wish they'd overdub her tracks singing in the movie... with her now a-day voice... which is JUST gold!!!!
I saw her perform the song when I saw the show in London a couple of years ago. It was absolutely incredible, the entire audience was up on its feet applauding. It was a show stopping moment. She sounds even better live....and stunning looking too!
A truly lovely song. I don't know where Webber pulls up this stuff. I personally love Boggess' voice. She just sounds heavenly to me. It doesn't hurt that she's also a natural beauty. Boggess doesn't just go through the motions from everything I've seen. She puts her heart and soul into her performances, and it pays big dividends with those who are fully tuned in to her efforts and talent. I could put this on an endless loop because it totally carries me away.
Sarah Westmoreland I have to believe you added a wink at the end of your statement -- since this is so off-subject. If you are referring to "my" half-brother Loki, played marvelously by Tom Hiddleson, I'll be sure to mention your name. As far as Sif goes, I don't think Thor has much to worry about because she's already enamoured with him. According to Norse mythology, Sif and Thor finally become husband and wife and have several sons. If one goes by the Marvel universe, who knows. Hiddleston seems to be doing very well cinematically. Supposedly, he had something going on with Taylor Swift, but new reports are that this is over. But, in any case the subject is really about Boggess and her performance. Did you like it?
How is this talented, beautiful woman not super famous yet? I've been aware of her since POTO at the Royal Albert Hall, but the world needs to get in on it! She's amazing!
Just beautiful everything about Sierra is as perfect as it can get she is the best Christine ever! I listen to Rock hip hop classical metal .. Yet I love real music this is real talent such a shame it has so few views compared to pop crap!.
The songs currently in the charts will be gone in six months. This is the kind of thing that sticks, and rightly so. LND really should be given more publicity.
My love for her voice will never die, no matter how much I listen to her. Two amazing artists, Sierra and Andrew both doing their thing live. Probably one of my favourite videos of anything to do with Love Never Dies. Apart from the full thing itself
sierra boggess is my biggest inspiration ever. every single day i listen to her sing and i'm always so astonished at how angelic her voice is. also, whenever i see her in interviews, or when she did "daae days," she is so jubilant and lively and that's so inspiring to me as well. it would be a dream to have even half the talent she has.
Who knows when love begins? Who knows what makes it start? One day it's simply there, a life inside your heart It slips into your thoughts, It infiltrates your soul It takes you by surprise, then siezes full control Try to deny it, and try to protest But love won't let you go, once you've been posessed Love never dies, love never falters Once it has spoken, love is yours Love never fades, love never alters Hearts may get broken, love endures Hearts may get broken, love endures And soon as you submit, Surrender flesh and bone, That love takes on a life much bigger than your own It uses you at whim, And drives you to despair And forces you to feel more joy than you can bear Love gives you pleasure and love brings you pain And yet, when both are gone, love will still remain Love never dies, love never falters Once it has spoken, love is yours Love never fades, love never alters Hearts may get broken, love endures Hearts may get broken Love never dies, love will continue Love keeps on beating when you're gone Love never dies, once it is in you Life may be fleeting, love lives on Life may be fleeting, love lives on
The song as performed by Sierra is magical ! Best for people who are broken-hearted or those left earlier by a loved one. If you fall in love - you fall ! The only consolation is that LOVE LIVES ON - WHILE WE MAY BE GONE !
Palaso Lexveritas and don't I know it. I unwittingly used this song for my partners funeral, knowing how mad he had gone for this musical when it came out. He loved this musical, and although I know Phantom, I'm not a musical lover normally, but this song just captured everything.. The lyrics are just so true.
Well there's no need to compare because Ben and Anna were the Australian cast and Ramin and Sierra weren't. They were all fantastic. If you're both going to be "THOSE" kinds of people then you can go listen to Ramin and Sierra
I liked Anna's singing but the make-up they gave her made her mouth look a little hard. Maybe a paler lip colour would have been better. Emily, I don't think it's unreasonable to have favourites. "Those kind of people" was uncalled for.
@@anniespencer1936 exactly what I think too. If her make-up was a little "softer" she woud've been perfect. In her instagram u can see how beautiful she is with a natural make-up (btw, english is not my native language, so I'm sorry if I wrote something wrong 😁)
@@MrsCurrant Your English is great! I agree entirely, that make-up made Anna look hard. In the documentary that comes with the Dvd she's wearing more natural make-up and looks really nice.
Ditto. I’ve never heard of this song before until someone recommended me to watch Sierra Boggess sing this song. I think I’ve been living under a rock for too long because I can’t believe I’ve never heard of her til today! I always saw Sarah Brightman as Christine but Sierra is something else. I’m blown away by her voice!
Csodálatos, gyönyörű énekhang, - átjárja az ember egész lényét. Az ember körül szinte megszűnik a világ, és csak zene! Itt kezdődik a művészet! Köszönöm!
