Sierra RS500 Barn find....After 27 years it has an mot and its finally complete!!

Gunna say. I am a spray painter and i could have got that back to new looking without a full respray in about 30-35hr.. and i mean as new even orange peel matching the lot. Also putting tape up the middle of a bonnet and doing one side at a time is never going to match up you will clear as day see the tape edge lines after its been dirty and washed a few times so lost the coating barrier. Awe well if they done it for free i suppose.. But no, Go see a spray painter about paint, not a "detailer" Edit: Btw im forever having to fix burn throughs from these so called "detailers" and they are always in a panic and a few of them i knew for a fact were hiding the repair from the customer as they quized me as to how likely someone would be able to notice the new clear coat smell.

@@Shadow-Edition I'm not jealous at all and I get they want to keep it original and hats off to the dent removal guy but 40 hours to machine polish a car is crazy. It still had to be taken back to finish surly anyone could do that in half the time!

never trust "detailers" full stop. Im a spray painter and im forever fixing the burn throughs etc they cause. They often ask if i think the customer will notice the smell or anything. Well they aint asking that because they are telling the owner are they?

Money well spent on people doing there jobs well and a bit of pride on a job goes a long way.👍🏻
