I did my very first trip to Sifnos and Kastro back in -94 when I was island hopping with a friend and I completely fell in love with Kastro.I came back two years later with my girlfriend at the time and stayed at the very same place in Kastro. This September I’ll be staying for two and a half weeks cliff diving,go on long hikes and eating Greek salads with tsatziki.Watching all the stars on the night sky and just enjoying the moment. I’m so longing for the fourth of September!!

Sifnos Island looks so beautiful. This video was very informative. I'd love to try some of those local specialties, and visit the beaches. I loved making friends with the cats in Greece.

Beautiful place, beautiful video! Seven Martyrs church is very impressive. Standing on the top of the rock over the sea, it looks so calm and peaceful! I would definitely love to try the local cheese 😊
Thanks for the lovely, helpful video! What are your thoughts on visiting in early April? Will restaraunts be open? And bus routes will still be active, even if not as many numbers as the high season?
Thank you for your kind comment! As Sifnos is one of the smaller/lesser-known islands, probably some restaurants and places of interest might not be open in early April. Also, public transport will be scarce if any. That said, the Cyclades in spring are a dream. If you could move your holiday towards the end of April that would be ideal so that you can experience the Greek Easter traditions, too. This year, Orthodox Easter is on May 5 😊
