Our P320 FCU Disassembly and Reassembly Video will walk you through disassembling the Fire Control Unit down to its individual components. From there we walk you through the P320 FCU reassembly.
Normally you do not need to disassemble the P320 FCU however, there are times that you need to maintain the pistol when parts break or wear out. Also, if your Sig P320 was in a flood or submerged in water from a natural disaster, a P320 FCU Disassembly and inspection is critical to make sure that there was no damage.

If your FCU components - specifically the sear spring lifter, the safety lifter, and the sear, especially with CUPS for the two springs - look like this video, CALL SIG IMMEDIATELY and do not use your firearm. It is NOT safe!
@TheRogueBanshee
@TheRogueBanshee 11 месяцев назад
Where are you reading/seeing this information? I would like to personally investigate that claim that it is not safe.
@brassmule
@brassmule 11 месяцев назад
@@TheRogueBanshee It's related to several ADs - not NDs but ADs - from the Sig discharging without the trigger being pulled or the firearm being dropped. The internals were all updated separately from the "voluntary update" for the drop safety issue. I don't think I can provide the link without my comment being removed by Youtbe, but if you google "New 2 July 2020 SIG P320 Lawsuit and P320 Concerns pistol forum" the first hit should be a very long forum thread with detailed posts that document the changes Sig has iterated over time. The cupped sear in particular is at least two revisions old now and may be the most dangerous part since it is associated with two known NDs. It's advised for Sig p320s with outdated FCU components or outdated striker assembles (See Sig Armorer's Updated Parts Reference WP016) to send the gun back to Sig for replacement components. Most likely Sigs to be affected are ones produced before 2020. These are the parts that Sig blames for a few confirmed ADs where Sig made the owner sign an NDA after it was fixed and is separate from the "voluntary" update related to drop safety.
@brassmule

@@TheRogueBanshee Hopefuly my reply came through. Excellent video, otherwise, and you helped me document and reassemble my FCU components so I can get it updated by Sig.
@brassmule
@brassmule 11 месяцев назад
@@TheRogueBanshee Your striker assembly is also outdated per WP016 but that's related to the angled hook that connects to the updated disconnector, which the p320 in this video doesn't have either. I would be very careful about this firearm until it gets updated.
@TheRogueBanshee
@TheRogueBanshee 11 месяцев назад
@@brassmule I got the reply but I am still wondering were to find the information you are referencing. A google search on Sig WP016 results in nothing useful. This is an original FCU that went through the "voluntary upgrade" so yea... it is old.
