You definitely on point

Here's how I was taught to determine dominant eye. Hold your hand out with a thumbs up. Align with a fixed object. Close an eye. If it didn't move the open eye is dominant. If it did the closed eye is dominant.

such and excellent video especially referring to being right handed and left eye dominate. i too am that way and i find my self bobbing and weaving my head around not not adjusting the pistol.

Excellent Advice/Tutorial

Still new to guns, pistols anyway, I am right eye dominant. I've been dry firing with both hands and my dominant right hand with my dominant right eye. However, I'm practicing using my left eye when shooting left hand only. Your thoughts?

The picture in this video of the actual pistol 3 dot system is not right. The red line should not dissect the dots. The red line should be at the top of the sights. The dots are not for aiming....they are for quick reference. The tops of your sights should be in the center of what you are aiming at. Secondly don't move the pistol to your left...dominate eye...turn your head slightly to the right. A ton of money and research has been placed on this to aid professional athletes and especially military personnel. One of the best shooters in the world has the same problem you and I seem to have....cross dominant eye hand issue.
