In this video, I go fishing for snook along Siesta Key beach for some snook! Had a great time and caught a few, so a very successful day even though it was cut short by some rain storms on the horizon.
Nice catches, I was in this same spot today and there was a ton of snook but nothing was biting my lures. Gonna try live bait next time. Did you catch your own whiting?
Possibly in this spot, but usually in the winter time you find them back in the intercoastal waterway, creeks, and in the bay as they seek warmer waters.
@@Fishing_With_Essex I'm guessing you mean from the ocean side by like beach access 12 I think it is I originally thought you were going to Shell Beach and walking around the rocks or swimming there somehow LOL
No they're great eating, but it is prohibited to keep snook in southwest Florida until further notice due to the harmful algal blooms that have occured there in recent years.
