Ohhhh tarkov vibes! haha thats awesome man! I love that style of nods in general; I think when i eventually step into analog I want to get a PVS7 styled unit. I know theyre not the most practical but, i loveeee the vibes. Totally agree on digital; in a few years i think its all we will be talking about!

@@bargainbintactician they are great for the price I snagged them for, just really heavy like I think it’s probably the heaviest unit out there aside from quads lol. I will warn you about PVS7s or my 10Ts your visions is kinda funky under them compared to duals or a mono but it’s not super hard to get used too also aiming through a optic is super hard.

Espeically how you mentioned. After trying both eyes with the wraith for a few nights I landed on non-dominate as well. It become pretty second nature going between light/dark areas that way. and another perk of the wraith being digital in that scenario is you dont risk burning out your tubes haha Thanks for watching and leaving such a detailed comment homie! @@adakar I know that. Where we play, you are only allowed to use digital NV or analog with ir flood lights. Also, gen3 tubes are not really available here. Most guys run ex-communist gen1 tubes. One guy has a setup with a BMP-2 driver's NV intensifier tube mounted onto his gun with custom optics..

@@Nave6W Sorrey, not exactly had it on stock. The guy who runs it runs some fields, has a RU-vid channel in the country. He got one to promote and I bought it from him. If I wanted to buy this exact device I would need to wait 1-2 months for customs clearance and other shite. Still cost an arm and a leg but I've been looking into NV for a good amount of time and put some money away.

That was exactly where I was at before Sightmark hit me up about this honestly! Always was intrigued by night vision but was put off by the seemingly ridiculous price of entry haha The wraith was the first unit that looked like it was worth a damn under a thousand bucks. I'm glad to have bought another. :)

Thats awesome to hear man!! I totally agree with your perks, not having to worry about damaging the tubes while doing stuff in bright rooms or during the day is such a handy feature. Ive had a couple sets of PVS14's in the studio since making this video and anytime I have them around Im always scared of damaging them, especially because theyre all loaners haha such a releif when I throw the wraiths back on. I love em! Glad youre diggin yours!

yeeeeep! theres a few layers in my mind: no night vision, gen 1/digital NVG, gen3/duals of some kind, and then the final god-tier of also having thermal interlaced in your NVG set up haha so much moneyyyyyyyyyyy

Oh I totally think it will! With big boys like Eotech putting a focus on digital night vision over the next couple of years, I’m really excited about the future of it. Sionyx is already doing some really advanced things with digital NV, I can only imagine how crazy it’ll be in a few years haha but either way, that means the average Joe like me can snag something like this I’m downnnnm haha 🤙🏻

@@bargainbintactician right dude, I’ve spent a small fortune on all my nods devices and now seeing digital stuff catching up (finally) I’m very very excited and now want to add some to the collection, I’m thinking a sionyx opsin gen 2 in a few years is when I’ll jump into it. I like that you can see out of band lasers too like swvr etc. and color lights to distinguish between ir and visible easier.

It was a little tricky getting them to interface with the Mlok rails I installed on my Airframe, but super easy for standard arc rails

Thanks so much homie! I actually used to play a ton of airsoft and have been itching to get back into it. I had no idea milsim west had locations all over! I'll have to make a trip out to one. Im out in kansas and didnt realise there was one in OK! I 'll have to give that a shot honestly. And yeah, IR is a huge give away! Buttt only if youre enemy has NODs too haha But also, if they dont expect you to have NODs theyll likely be giving themselves away between IR strobes and IR lasers/lights they would also be running. So you could use the Wraith as an ID tool: Disable the onboard IR and use it to scan the area for enemy IR signatures. Because when it comes down to it, digital is better than no nods. and analog is the best option. Im not trying to convince anyone the wraith can substitute a PVS14 in every catagory, but its not trying to either. Digital and analog are two categories of the same product. you know, cause like a civic and a lambo are both cars, but I hope people dont expect them to perform the same haha Appreciate all the love dude! I would be pumped to collab with any of those dudes!! quality peeps!!!

Also your point about not wanting to get digital hit with me because I didn't even think about but using my pvs-14s while I was in the gun club I pretty much always had to have the IR wash turned on because of what you said so I think this is gonna be on my list of stuff to buy! Got myself an AR to build recently and now I'm looking to get a handgun and what not but I think the rest of my kit will be next after that.

Sorry it took me a couple days to get back to ya, my spacebar stopped working on my keyboard, probably too much raging on COD haha! But to your point, thats continued to be my experience really brother! Obviously my shooting is restricted to civi stuff on the range, or out in the woods shooting at paper alone haha But anytime other dudes are around rocking night vision, I see them using IR all night too. If the FOV on the wraiths was as wide as the PVS14 there would literally be no contest considering price points of both units. And the longer I spend with the wraiths the less I even notice the tight FOV. I mean, like the pros say, training is everything. So whatever you get, spend time with it and youll be more prepared than the dude with a million bucks in gear that never practices anyway! Thanks again for the kind words my dude, appreciate you!

Ohhhh the OPSIN is on another planet from this brother haha The amount that unit can see without IR is insane, and then it being so small, and full color and all that jazz. DAMN! I lust after one of those haha I'm sure in a few years that tech will be a little more commonplace though... hopefully haha I love the wraith, and totally recommend it still, just very different units at the end of the day.
