@@vibha3776 After 99 years, you will not be alive. Great salute to those who think for so long. Anyways, to answer your question, first of all it is not for 99 years lease, it will be for 90 years. Secondly, if govt. don't open a scheme to convert to freehold before 90 years expire then you will need to pay for release the plot based on the rate that will be running 90 years from now. If none of your future generation sells it before lease expire, then it will be most likely 5th or 6th generation of yours who will be doing re-lease . Now, ask this question to your self, do you wanna care about your 5th or 6th generation at present or just wanna focus on your children and your grandchildren at max.
