I’ll take 17 4 stars who we mostly know can play ball in Louisiana and Texas over a smaller number of 4-stars and in their place a few 5-stars we don’t know as well who will transfer at the drop of a hat.
This really seems like a class that will be the backbone of the future. Lots of players who bought in, no real egos that you can see. Lots of guys with potential as long as they stay. This seems like a culture setting type of class. 2025 looks like it’s shaping up to be the class with the ridiculous talent in it that we could get. Overall really good class to have when it comes to depth and building the future imo.
Pimpton is 6'4, Green 6'6, Sampson 6'4....those are the exact kind of receivers FSU had that gave team fits, and I expect each to do the same! Nuss has weapons, and with the RB room becoming more lethal, and a solid, solid O line I know a playoff spot is in play for the next year and beyond!
Excited about Weston Davis signing since LSU will probably lose Will Campbell and Emery Jones to the draft in 2025, also getting TE Green is a big. It is likely Mason Taylor will do better next year. I can see LSU go to a more 2 TE offense with Nussmier,, more run heavy play action pass and Taylor will benefit from that
But who’s hungry ? Which one of these kids has that burning desire? That itch that gave us Tyrann Mathieu, Joe Borrow, Derick Stingley Jr etc etc etc. I could name many insanely talented players who balled out religiously. If that comes from a walk on, a 3 star or a 5 star recruit. I want LSU to be filled with ballers! Like the mean machine team from the longest yard
Well, then can you explain why Bama, for decades and Ga. For the last couple of years ,get the Most 5 Stars and Always playing for the Championship. Enough said.
