I'm so sorry to anyone currently living with someone addicted to drugs or currently addicted.. I was addicted go crack for several years of my daughter's life. I regret it every day... To whomever is reading this. If you ever make one smart choice in your life... stay away from drugs. Seriously. Some people are genetically wired to addiction. Once you try it, it will have ahold of you for the rest of your life.. and you'll be willing to forget someone so precious as a beautiful gift, like a family and child. I hate myself for the life I chose...so if there's one good thing I can do, it's help others learn that they do have a choice and life is so much more beautiful without drugs. Time is precious. Make it count.

I'm autistic and have all these symptoms. My family still believes I'm on Cocaine even though I show them many blood tests I'm on no drugs. I'm already suffering from a developmental disorder and hearing people accuse me of this is painful.

Just done coke today giving up next day it’s gets better fighting the withdrawal symptoms that’s comes with it but hopefully I’ll become victorious positive vibes and energy all the way .!!

I think my dad is on it, I’m not sure and I really hope I’m wrong. He has been hiding something all the time from me, his nose is acting up and I hear him snorting or breathing in something in the next room sometimes, and when I go check on him, he puts something away really fast before I see it. He isn’t himself, I’m really worried for him.

The “signs” could also be caused by depression, bipolar, bpd, did, autism, adhd, anxiety disorders and caffeine usage. All of which run in my family…..very very heavily. I also have ptsd from child SAb too. I personally don’t use cocaine or know anyone who does but I drink ungodly amounts of caffeine, I take hits off my dab pen, and I like my fair share of alcohol. I do it so I can feel normal and be able to function in a capitalist society that views those with disabilities (diagnosed and undiagnosed) as lesser value and therefore less likely to survive as most jobs won’t hire people who are not neurotypical (aka someone who’s autistic or adhd for example) as most workplaces in the US don’t have the proper training and education to communicate with people like me. And if you do manage to hold a job down for a while, others typically won’t see or respect you as a person and in corporate settings, HR will find any excuse to try to write you up or fire you because your brain was trying to self regulate by making your body have uncontrollable, random tics. But if you try to mask the tics, it causes you to go into a panic attack or tic attack, due to how harmful it is to mask the tics and stims. Studies have actually shown that masking tics and stims can actually take 14 years off your life expectancy if you’re neurodivergent. I tried to not mask while working when I was at Macy’s but then I would get in trouble with HR for my tics and for stimming, since they thought it was drug related. I actually got fired for having a tic attack during a ptsd episode after seeing my abuser, because HR didn’t care enough to acknowledge the fact that it wasn’t drug related; that it was actually related to my disabilities and childhood trauma. (Don’t get me wrong, I loved working for Macy’s but I hated the HR department with a passion because of stuff like this.) This is just a theory of mine but this is probably why a lot of autistic, bipolar, bpd and adhd people do cocaine or are commonly accused of doing cocaine when in reality most of us are just trying to feel normal by either using drugs or mimicking our neurotypical peers but failing to regulate our emotions like the average person.
