I'm 4 weeks away from my baby's due date and I am panicked cuz I have felt no energy this whole time at all lol. I still have so much to do but I'm so big and uncomfortable now I don't think I can actually do what I need to do. Fingers crossed I have at least a day of energy before he comes into the world.
My first labor was 45 minutes from first contraction to birth…pushed 3 times…my second labor was one hour from contraction to birth, pushed 5 times. Both are now teenagers. I am currently 20 weeks pregnant and hope I have a smooth and quick delivery again 😅
Hi Diana! I had my baby girl 12/14/21. I Started having contractions at 1:52 am that woke me up out of my sleep. It felt like intense menstrual cramps. Things progressed quickly. They were 15-20 mins apart then, it got faster, stronger and longer. I went to my birth center around 5am. Midwife said I was already 8-9 centimeters dilated. My water broke soon after she checked me. I then labored in the tub and my daughter was born via water birth at 6:14 am. My first baby and I had a great experience. It was the hardest, but most beautiful and empowering thing and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. 💕💕💕
Congratulations!! I am pregnant with my first 32 weeks currently. So happy everything went well for you! Did you do anything to prepare for your labor? I’m trying to prepare as much as possible
@@gracen.r.6309 thank you! I stayed active my entire pregnancy! I really believe that’s what helped. I stopped working out at 37 weeks. Delivered at 39+2.
@@gracen.r.6309 I also suggest making a birth vision board with affirmations on it. I had a push playlist of songs and music on my phone playing during labor. And a good support system is vital too. No matter who it is.
LaShanda Allen Redmon Thats amazing thank you! I’ve been active for the most part as well and started using a birth ball. That’s great advice! I will definitely work on it. Do you mind me asking how did you choose the songs for the play list? I would love to have a playlist. Did you create your own affirmations or something I can find online?
@@gracen.r.6309 I have 157 songs on my playlist. I added songs to it over the course of my entire pregnancy. I highly suggest you pick songs and music that you like and that mean something to you. Hope that makes sense! Best of luck to you!! 💕
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”- Matthew 11:28-30 💖
I just got discharged today from hospital, I got induced Friday midnight and delivered the baby by Saturday morning 10:30 it was so quick!! We are so happy that everything was quick and easy!! So God Bless you and wish you the best 🥰🥰
@@linderaboflah7163 it wasn’t painful all depends on your doctors plan, they give me half of a pill around 12:30 then the other half around 4:30 by 6:45 am when my doctor came in to check my cervix it was hard still then he ordered another half , that I didn’t need because by 7:30 my contractions when from every 30 minutes to every minute my water broke then everything happen so quick that I can say from my seven baby’s this has been the most beautiful delivery experience! So don’t be Afraid and good luck! God bless you!
I've had 3 c sections and I'm opting for a vbac , I'm a bit nervous but confident , definitely have backup just Incase complications occur. 39 weeks and 3 days totally over it Update: Had a successful Vba3c!
Wow happy to hear that. How long you wait before getting pregnant and delivered through Vbac the interval period or year? My friend want to try after her 1st c section but the doctor said the timing is to close to try vbac please respond.
Congratulations 👏🏼. I had a an emergency C-section after 12 hours of labour and was pushing with my 1st but Doctor was scared that I will catch an infection as my waters had been broken for over 36 hours. praying for a VBAC but keeping an open mind. I would love to hear some positivity as I’m so anxious that I will experience the same again 😢
I’m 38 weeks today with my first baby! Your videos have been so helpful and comforting throughout my pregnancy. The soft signs started a couple weeks ago. Looking forward to going into actual labor and meeting my baby girl!!!
I am 31 weeks also first baby so I am excited and a little nervous I want everything ready in case I like being prepared in case of baby coming too soon.
I’m about to be 32 weeks with my first baby, and I’m educating myself now cause I keep having Braxton Hicks Contractions and I wanna prepare and be aware of actual contractions, praying for all Mamas who are about to give birth or already had their babies ❤
I'm in the same boat - 34 weeks with plenty of Braxton Hicks. I've sometimes mistaken a bowel movement for early labor 😂 The best of luck to you! Hang in there mama!!
I'm almost 32 weeks with my third. Braxton Hicks are nothing compared to real labor. I know she made light of people saying "you'll know when it's real" but that's as accurate as it can get. You will definitely know the difference.
Hi from New Zealand 🇳🇿 I have had two labours, currently 34 weeks with third. Went into labour at 41 weeks with both previous babies. Contractions for me felt just like period cramps to begin with, then all-encompassing pain while in transition. But when I reached the point of beginning to cry, my midwife knew it was time to start pushing 😊 so it's good to know that when you feel it's becoming unbearable, you're just about done.
Five births, one c section, followed by two natural births with hemorrhages. Learned a lot, dealt with a lot but in the end five daughters now grown with grands. Hallelujah
This is my second pregnancy! Currently 38 weeks and 4 days. Induction is scheduled for 7/2/23. The current birth plan is a VBAC. Please keep me and baby girl in thoughts and prayers 🙏🏽 😊 🩷💕
This video was very helpful. I delivered my first at 35 weeks. Had a rapid birth, no epidural. I was puking the entire time I was in labor. I started having contractions at a out 1:45. Finally went to the hospital around 5am. The nurses were not very attentive bc they assumed I would be in labor for hours since it was a first delivery. My mom had to leave the room twice to go get them to come check me bc my contractions were so close. Well they checked me at like 6:55ish and had to run and get the doctor. I started pushing at 7am my son was out at 7:03. It was not a very good experience and nothing went according to my birth plan but I love my son he was worth all the mess. I am now 33 weeks with #2 and I am really hoping I get an epidural this time around. I am not about that unmedicated delivery life. Hats off to moms who are, but that ain't for me.
I’m 28 weeks pregnant and preparing mentally to give birth. I have to say I’m TERRIFIED and so so scared to go into labor. I’ve heard crazy stories, everything from being in labor for hours! Having panic attacks while giving birth, some girl told me it was so easy and she hardly felt any pain, I’ve heard another girl say she felt her body completely numb and only felt a lot of pain at the end etc etc. so I know it’s different for everyone. With this said, I pray to God that my labor is easy and bearable, because I can’t handle pain well. Please send good wishes and lots of strength. 💕
Hi dear, based on what many suggest pregnancy yoga and daily walk helps your mind and body to get stronger and ready so just try it as it also helps you with breathing better. Get to know breathing techniques and practice them from now so you become a master on it and your body get use to it. Good luck as much as you prepare its gonna be easier.
I recommend reading Ina May’s Guide to Childbirth. There are many birth stories in there that have made me feel so empowered reading them, and has taken away fear of giving birth. Good luck! You’ll do great! You were made for this!
I’m 38 weeks today With my first baby! Your videos has been so helpful and comforting throughout half of my pregnancy, looking forward to going into labor but also kind of nervous 😩
@@samthejackalope5427 it’s completely normal mama , feel it all out and you will be meeting your bundle of joy really soon. I gave birth two weeks ago and he is healthy and a bit feisty 😂 … still transitioning myself at this point but it gets better each day. Please be gentle with yourself and know that you’re doing amazing ❤️
Greetings from Jamaica!🇯🇲 I'm currently 34 weeks pregnant with my first baby boy😊. I'm really nervous. Your videos have been so helpful and informative. Thank you so much!!
@@DianaInThePink Hello@Diana in the Pink I'm from Tanzania I've been watching your videos since I was 12 weeks pregnant, currently I'm 34 weeks and 3days preg,Iam Having SPD(Symphsis pubis dysfunction) since week 30 until now...I'm nervous will I be able to give birth naturally? Please give me some advice on what to do so that I can have a natural birth.PS this is my first pregnancy...
37weeks 4days,with my first pregnancy and your videos have been so helpful during this period, I have started experiencing soft signs of labour and have been scheduled for a C-section at 38weeks2days that's next week on the 10/8/2022
I gave birth 37 +7 weeks into pregnancy. It started as feeling constipated, I even tried to poop that morning. Hours later, I realized it was labor contractions when I noticed a pattern. When I timed it, the contractions were 2 minutes apart. It doesn't feel that painful though, I even managed to walk to the ER and fill up the forms. The nurses said I was already 6cm dilated by that time. The worst pain came after my water broke while in the ER. That's when they wheeled me into the delivery room. The contraction pain is so strong that my body automatically pushes the baby out. I can't stop it. I had epidural and I can vaguely remember the whole thing that happened during delivery. In the end, I gave birth to a healthy baby boy 👶🏻
I gave birth to my first baby when I was 18 years old, she came naturally at 37 weeks and 3 days, my waters broke naturally and I felt a pop. I was in labour for 4 and a half hours. I’m now pregnant with my second at the age of 34 years old- I’m currently 32 weeks and 1 day into my pregnancy- let’s see what happens with the second baby 😂
Safe and sound delivery to us all... Your videos really help me to know more about pregnancy and labour, thank you very much 🙏🙏🙏🙏... please pray for us too
I’ve had 3 c sections and two vbacs. I am very grateful for the hospital I delivered my little ones at, for giving me the chance to try and do what our body’s naturally do. Every labor is different. Some take longer to progress than others❤
My first experience I had to be induced at 41 weeks. I would have rather waited for him to come naturally. I had cervadil and as I progressed I started having contractions with no break in between at only 5 cm. I got an epidural which allowed me to rest and my cervix as well. My best advice is to relax relax RELAX!! Get in the zone and everything will go just fine. I'm currently 35 weeks with baby girl. Where's all the 2 under 2 moms shows some love!!
I've had 5 induced labors. I am currently 37 weeks pregnant and praying I go into labor on my own. I would love to experience this song this is my last baby.
I had my daughter Zoey in December 2013. I thought I was having braxton hicks contractions all day but push through the pain and kept walking. I was shopping with my mom all day and by the end of the day I was in so much pain with contractions, sore body and joints, and a sharp pain in my perinatal area. But When I got home everyone was worried and wanted to take me to the hospital but my fiance said "no let her sit for a minute and see how she feels with rest and water first lets time some contractions" and as soon as he had said those words I felt a small but significant gush of fluid kinda rush out like as if you had been on a heavy period and sneeze or cough and u feel that sensation of liquid rush out but know its not urine. It felt like that to me! I ran down our apartment stairs and waited by the car yelling "Hurry up! Before the pain gets worse Let's go!" It took a while for my mom and fiance to catch up lol. When I got to the hospital it was too late for pain medication and they rushed me to delivery and wanted me to hold it for what felt like forever so I held my baby in till my muscles locked and I needed a shot of something cant remember to relax the muscle cramp/spasm so I could push. When I was able to push The Dr. tried to get me to feel my daughters hair as she was coming out but i was another person at that point I Screamed "GET IT OUT!" LMAO It's the funniest memory I have of my labor. I only saw a face of horror on the Dr. and nurses after that yell and last push. This was my 2nd Baby that I had and that is why the labor seemed so fast but the hospital informed me I was in labor all day with Zoey before my water broke and I just didnt know it. I pushed throught the pain for shopping lol Hoping these videos help me understand the differences this time. Im having my 3rd baby now Im 36 weeks along with my second daughter Ariel due in March 2022! Thankyou for your video's it's bringing me some peace of mind. Im really anxious about the birth so I appreciate what you do! Thx Diana Pink

Had my first child 12yrs ago through natural delivery, I must say your videos have been helpful cause I've really been out of the game and forgot so many things. I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant with my second child, hopefully, natural delivery if all goes well.
Thank you for the information dr Diana ❤️ It's my first pregnancy, still 14 weeks but I started to learn about labor and delivery to prepare my mental. I really hope I can have vaginal birth without any medication. I hope me and the baby are healthy.
First time mama, 38 weeks. I’ve had massive pelvic pain, but I can feel him descending downward. We’re getting close ladies! Thanks for the tips! Pray for us with safe delivery! 🤍

Hi Diana and ladies! I am 39 weeks tomorrow and going to hospital at midnight to get induced, I hope everything happens fast and no tearing and I will be getting an epidural cause im a little scared. This is my first pregnancy at 25 years old with a baby girl. This experience will determine if I have another baby or not lol. wish me luck and bless you all for your experiences! I read them all
How did your delivery go? What was your experience? I am 26wks today and getting anxious about delivery! This is also my first and I am 34yrs old. I’m having a boy, his name is Bryson Michael. I love him so much already and cannot wait to meet him. Have had a feeling he’s going to come early since day one!! Idk how early but I pray we make it to at least 34-37wks. I was 2 months premature myself when my mom had me. She found out she was pregnant at 5months and delivered me at 7months. I knew I was pregnant right away!! I could feel EVERYTHING going on inside my body and I’ve never felt anything like it before, so I KNEW I was FINALLY pregnant or something was seriously wrong inside of me. Lol
2nd time mom, but my first was an emergency induction at 36 weeks due to hypertension/preeclampsia. I’m 37 weeks along with baby #2 now and hoping I can stay in good health this time! Watching as many videos about active labor as I can so my husband and I know when to go. Pretty nervous about the idea of going into labor on my own this time, but praying it’ll all go well. I’m excited to meet my sweet little boy! ❤️
It’s irritating but so true in my experience that “you’ll know” when they are true contractions. I’d thought I was having contractions before but when they started in earnest there was no doubt. I couldn’t stay still during the real contractions, I could only lean against my kitchen countertops and sway. The pain was very elevated from the practice contractions. Now with my second baby I’m following the advice I found online: ignore all contractions until you can’t! Then start timing.
When I was in labor I experienced the slight break in my water while I was walking and trying to keep labor moving along. Later when I was at the hospital and bouncing on a ball, I experienced the pop and gush. So crazy!
38w 2d pregnant. Braxton Hicks have become more intense and the pressure in the pelvis is sooo uncomfortable 😣 This video has helped me identify signs of Labor. Good luck to all mammas.
I am 31 weeks pregnant with baby #4. The things I noticed with true, active labor are that the heaviness and pain in your lower abdomen, back and in the pelvis is much stronger than the in the weeks leading up to active labor. It was a lot harder to walk. The contractions become continuous and almost rhythmic. As you time contractions they get closer and are much stonger than you have previously felt. So intense that it made me need to go to the bathroom. Having done natural labor, when in active labor changing positions doesn't stop contactions but can help you get somewhat more comfortable through the contractions.
Hi im from NZ currently 39+3 being induced on thurs due to size of baby (9.2 pounds @ 38+4) this will be our second child. Wish all the mamas out there the very best❤
I was induced in 2015 with my first baby. I never felt any pain/contractions. I didn’t receive epidural either. The pain I felt came when it was time to push. I’m now 39 weeks pregnant and I honestly have no idea what contractions feel like, I don’t know what to expect. I had really bad back pains New Year’s Day but It faded after a few hours. I’m just so done I want to give birth already !
27 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby. Had my first born at a birth center, had my second at home with a midwife and I’m planning to have my third one at home as well with the same midwife. All of my births were beautiful and positive and I’m looking forward to another beautiful and healthy birth and baby. Just came here to review when to call my midwife
I gave birth at 38 weeks and 2 days. Unfortunately my baby is still footling breech at that time. I dilated 10cm in just 3 hours. It's hard not to push because I will undergo C-section Contractions app helped me a lot to know when to go to the hospital. Prayers for all mommies that will give birth soon 🥰
Hi, my baby is still in a breech position too. I am so nervous when I read a few comments when they said that it was too late for them to get epidural and wonder if that would ever be the case for C-section
@@HappyDaysForLife I hope you can still have a normal delivery sometimes breech babies positions at head first in the last minute. You can have C section if you like to you can ask your doctor about it 🙂 Hoping for your smooth delivery soon 🥰
I live an hour and a half away from my hospital (live in rural Oklahoma and am delivering at my Chickasaw Nation Hospital) I don't want to drive to the hospital and be told I am not ready to deliver and have to drive back... this is my first baby and I am nervous about not recognizing true labor. Your video is helping ease my anxiety.
@@XriizzXrozz awesome! I live by Eufaula Lake and am going to the Chickasaw Nation Hospital in Ada to have my baby. Thankfully they don't charge registered natives for any treatment. My insurance is terrible and I would have to pay over 10k to have my baby in a regular hospital. The drive sucks but I can use that 10k for my baby instead. Hope you have a great birth experience!
@@XriizzXrozz Omg I was too! I am 32 weeks right now, but I was sick and unable to eat or even drink water until I was about 4 1/2 months pregnant. The tiredness is also no joke. I took naps during my work lunch and breaks and immediately went to bed after work. The nausea medicine they gave me at first didn't help at all but then my midwife prescribed Omeprazole and that helped so much immediately. Once you aren't sick anymore the pregnancy seems to go by so much faster.
I'm 39 weeks and 2 days of pregnancy. I experience mild cramps early in the morning I fell like a crams like I have a period. Also my leg is cramping too. I hope I will labor this week. Praying for safe delivery and healthy baby.❤️
I just gave birth and I came on RU-vid just to see how accurate my signs of labor were based on what I was watching while pregnant, and wow I am feeling a bit nostalgic to remember my contractions and how I even wondered if they were real contractions or not. The experience was very unique to myself but also there’s great truth info on here that I can relate.
Hi, I'm from London. I am 32 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I am really excited. I've been having braxton hicks contractions since 28 weeks, so I know it's not the real thing. I am looking forward to my first labour experience, due 7th march 2022.
I'm currently pregnant with my second baby. My first time in labor started early in the morning and it felt like indigestion type of stomach cramps, as if I had to go to the bathroom and poo. But then I decided to time them and I noticed a pattern that they would go away and come back a few minutes later. Once we arrived at the hospital, I wasn't quite dilated enough so I had to do a alot of walking. The contractions started getting worse to the point where I would have to stop walking and grab onto something and breath through the pain. Eventually I got an epidural and that was fantastic. I remained in labor for about 28 hours but it was smooth sailing after the epidural. When I started to push, I felt an immense amount of pressure that was quite painful (the epidural didnt take that away) but when my son came out I had no tearing at all so I didnt need stitches. I'm hoping I wont need stitches this next time around either. Labor may be painful and uncomfortable but seeing that baby afterwards is totally worth it! I'm excited. 😊
Thank you for sharing your story!! I’m worried about going into active labour and NOT knowing it! My friend who has had 3 children (my Godchildren) said that she didn’t even know she was in labour until her body started to get the feeling of needing to push. So she called her sister and they literally made it to the hospital in the Nick of time because the baby came quick! Another one she almost had to have in the car. I’m praying I have a very quick delivery but also want an epidural and to have my son at the hospital I myself was born at, which is about a 45 minute drive, even tho there’s a hospital 10-15mins away from me but let me be frank, they are a “band-aid” hospital!!! And I really don’t wanna have my son there if I can help it!!! 💙 hope all goes well for a safe and healthy delivery/baby for all the mommy’s out there!!
This is so good! I'm currently 22 weeks with my first babe and am so hopeful that I continue to be healthy and a low risk, because I do not want to be induced or have a c section. Induction at 39 weeks sounds awful to me, to lay in a hospital room without any comfort or familiarity and feel so exposed and vulnerable. I live literally 3 minutes from the hospital. I would be confident to labor as much as possible at home. My husband could roll me down the hill into the hospital if needed, we are truly that close.
This is my first pregnancy. I am currently 37 weeks and 2 days pregnant my due date is march 19 th so coming up very soon very excited and nervous to see my baby boy 💙
First baby❤️ I’ve had contractions for 24 hours now and I have only went from .5 cm dilated to 3cm and 80% effaced over the whole 24 hours… im so ready to give birth. 39 weeks and 3 days today!
Can you make videos around c-sections, specially scheduled c-sections? I find your videos very informative and I rather take advice and ideas from you than random influencers. I checked your channels but nothing comes up. What to pack when having c-sections etc etc. I love your videos and have been an amazing guide throughout my pregnancy. I watch them weekly and Im 33 weeks today. My scheduled c-section is approaching at 37 weeks!
For my first, my water broke in very dramatic movie style fashion, at 38weeks haha- I went right into the hospital, so I never labored at home. This time I am 35 weeks and have a scheduled c section for 39 weeks. I’m definitely nervous about going into labor at home and not really realizing it since I read all about how your subsequent babies come sooner and faster.
I’ve given birth twice, from when I felt my first contraction to when I was holding my baby was 9 hours both times! Currently 38 weeks and hoping for the same :)
