What a sweet wonderful woman. I met her at an event where I was interning as a young kid, and she struck up a natural conversation with me then. I'll never forget how gracious and good to me she was, it made a gigantic impression.
I love that Sigourney used the word 'magnificent' to describe Ingrid Bergman... I was literally just thinking of that word to describe her, although in my head it seemed inadequate so I ended up with 'spectacularly magnificent'. -which Sigourney IS. The way she carries herself is quite wonderful. I met her once in an airport concourse early in the morning in once about 30 years ago. She smiled at my 2 year old daughter as we and her were the only ones there at that moment. Class act.
She was iconic in this movie. The adults neglecting their kids thing didn't sit well with Hollywood (I wonder why), so they didn't award this movie appropriately.
What do you mean neglect? They're allowing their children to be free...to be free from the constraints of adults pretending to know better than children. They are free of vicious doctors telling them that they are male or female when they are born. They are free of....HAHA...just kidding. People are tired of Hollywood and it's bullsh!t. Sigourney is a gem...but Hollywood as a whole can go to hell.
I heard Sigourney's voice while I'm dozing. A sweet horror washed over me. Fear of God. It felt amazing. I miss that sacred voice. Like heaven. Like a child's first Christmas. Heavenly. Like She.
