I was at her concert in cologne in june this year and she was THAT good, that I rate it easily as the best concert I've ever visited. The live-videos here on youtube give a good impression what to expect and she was so charismatic, that she easily smiled a little slipup away.
Loved this version of the song. Sigrid blends all the best elements in her vocals. And her jazzlike flow has her scatting that I really enjoy. Great job Bob and hope you feel better soon.
Hi, Sir, and thanks for a great reaction. You explain so well why you like music. You take a look at the upbeat and the acoustic version and that show the artist, I think. You are one of very few reactors that do so. So thank you, you make it interesting. Fun fact: Sigrid is doing 12 conserts in US/Canada in sept/okt. this year. Suggestions: 1. A chocking collab this year with Sigrid and the metal band Bring me the horizon (BMTH). The video is very creativ and fantastic and it’s followed with a acoustic with Sigrid at the piano…ofcourse. Beautiful! BMTH invited Sigrid to collab, they wrote the song with some input from Sigrid ofcourse. Some reactors say that this song will save lives! You should absolutely look up the scene behind the performance. Very interesting and you will see how this collab took place. You can see it for yourself before the reaction. Hi. Wow, thanks for all of that. I'm really trying to figure out the whole Sigrid thing when it comes to copyrights. Any time I post, they almost immediately cut off all monetization. This is clearly a reaction video which should be protected under fair use, but apparently they don't see it that way. I really wish I could find a way to work with them, especially since I like her so much. I'll do my best.
@@ModernLifeForThe70sMind Hi, your struggle seems unfair and arbitrary…I have no idea. You have my symphaty. Maybe «they» don’t like that she always wear cloths on when she perform?:)
She DEFINITELY drives the crowd. Huge on the festival circuit … just played Glastonbury. Like her most in her own gigs though. She writes for live performance … especially the latest album.
What a great song for her! Love it! And Michal Ostman - She IS the vibe! How fun! Kind of reminds me of a young Taylor Swift because of content and her having fun with it.
Hi there Bob! Wow, this young lady is really something special! I liked both versions of the song. Her vocal 'acrobatics,' for want of a better word😁, are captivating. All these wonderful artists frim Norway, Sweden, Finland etc. Must be something in the water!😁 How are the birds doing? Take care Bob!
Hi Eleonora. Glad to the report that the birds are doing great and appear to be deeply in love. They have no shame. They literally make out right in front of me!! LOL
GReat reaction Bob. Attitude for sure! What I have learned about the lyrics is that she wrote this after a meeting with an established male songwriter. She thought they should be making music together, but he having little interest in her views and input, he knew how things should be done ... BIG mistake with a talented person like Sigrid!
Another great reaction 😊👍For crowd interaction, I recomend you check out her performance of "Strangers"(one of her biggest hits) at Glastonbury festival 2022. Just a few days ago. She really engage the audience.
Regarding hearing a full concert, she evidently did GREAT on Glastonbury festival in England on Saturday. Her own comments on Instagram were very happy, and the comments from those who were there, were over the top. It was streamed by BBC, there are some cuts on YT and also a link to the full concert ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Wspkq4sqtpY.html . Haven't seen it myself, yet.
I've only been to one of her concerts (in Oslo Spektrum this spring). She is very good at working a crowd and has a lot of energy on the scene. If you really want to see her working a crowd (after she was actually done with the concert) and enjoying herself tremendously, this is a clip I enjoy a lot: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EOuMBHiv9TY.html. But all her concert recordings are worth seeing. BTW, the story behind "Don't kill my vibe" isn't a love story. She was having a song writing session with somebody who thought he knew everything better than her and didn't listen to or value her input. Obviously nothing useful came from that session except that she used the experience in another song writing session with somebody else, and this song was born.
Drive the crowd she sure does, you ain't seen nothing yet. I've told you before she reminds me of Alanis Morissette, sigrid is now a successful and established mainstream artist another great talent from Norway. this is her latest release " bring me the horison" acoustic version, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Mx6XVBeyED8.html it's a cracker.
I remember being at a concert for KT Tunstall and was actually blown away by how amazing her voice was live. Would be interesting, if you've never heard KT before, to see a react to her with one of her old performances like Black Horse & Cherry Tree on Jools Holland in 2004 or Minature Diasters for Rolling Stones.
