Would be interesting to see how he does against better survivors, these just kept running to nothing and barely using emps. But he probably won't make it to live like this.
Knowing these devs? No doubt in my mind he wont make it to live like this or stronger, and then they'll fix him later. They've got a lonf history of doing ridiculously dumb things on the PTB and blatantly ignoring all feedback lmao
@@birken13your encouraged to shoot them in wide areas of view, which the other version did but survivors had enough time to move out of the way or react the more wide open of a spot you chose. But with the auto lock that negative is gone and they have little reaction time, and are even more encouraged to waste time to emp them. Which they also nerfed in getting them. Outside that they still increased the length of the hypermode by 2 seconds and given him more haste, he use to either barely make it or at the least close the distance but those small changes basically push him over the edge of maybe hitting to consistently being able to hit.
At 3:34 this is the craziest part of this buff. You can go from casually checking cameras to in chase, interrupting a heal, ON TOP of a survivor, with 3% haste, all the way across the map, when you had no idea they’d be there. It’s killer autopilot
This killer has always been the most oppressive killer in the game just people don't know how to play. This change is going to be an absolutely miserable experience as survivor. But super powerful as killer so swings and roundabouts I guess
@@LoopDaddy1 Miserable? Maybe I will finally against something else than Nurse, Blight, Wesker combo all day long. Maybe I will be matched against different killer. Miserable for people what are not willing to learn. Good survivors will have fun times with him. Finally.
@@LoopDaddy1 miserable? nobody is going to play him anyways if they wanted to play meta and win they're just gonna play blight and nurse for more kills with less effort
Sth I’ve noticed: the changes to emp crates make bots almost never pick them up. Used to be forced to run Requisition Form vs bots to combat them constantly emping (not sure why it did stop them but it did) now you don’t
So you don’t like hard killers and not take time to learn them so its good a killer was dumb down for you cause you just couldn’t learn them or even try to play them.
@@Notwedsquid Yeah he is hard to play. Also he is not worth the effort unlike Nurse for example. You have to work so hard for just one hit. I’m too lazy for that. This makes him a lot easier to play. Basically I’m not willing to lose many matches just to perform like a B tier killer.
@@BabyJesusBro I meant the changes to singularity has made him more accessible to individuals with lower skill. Thus lower a skill floor. But yes he does have one of the higher skill floors comparatively to other killers.
what makes this one buff so crazy is that the biggest downsides of playing singularity is accidentally toggling to the wrong camera (when they are aligned behind one another) and after toggling to a camera, QUICKLY snapping to aim at the survivor. With the camera AUTO aiming at the survivor, theres gonna be a lot of singularity players performing well with little effort, so the skilled singularities (current live version) will now have a lesser skill ceiling killer cause of this.
@@L33C333 I don't think you understand what a skill ceiling is. The skill ceiling is unchanged here except now you don't have to aim; the reason its actually the skill floor lowering is because less effort is required to achieve the same outcome. There is hardly any skill involved in aiming and pressing his ability, the hardest part about it was getting confused, which has now been corrected. That's what also might make him OP, because the floor is so low.
@@Eli_PC137 a skill floor is how easy it is to learn something a skill ceiling is the cap (or top) of the capabilities, hence the word “ceiling” There is absolutely skill involved when toggling to a camera, stop yourself from being disoriented, then focus on the survivor. Don’t @ me to make stupid comments.
Singularity was already insanely strong if you knew how to play him, they just made him more accessible to people who don’t want to spend thousands of hours learning a single killer. I played a lot of singularity now and I will continue to play him after the patch drops.
I heard that quote before and honestly yea I am just gonna not care. I spend too much time trying to explain things to stupid people that don’t want to change their mind and it’s obvious. They base their logic off of feelings.
having the cams lock onto people is not really a buff on pc unless you're on controller since you were already going to see them with the white outline regardless whereas now they don't have one so it's harder to see on top of the auto lock when it does happen on some loops you can't fake the teleport on him nearly as easily since it starts the timer to slipstream them before you can turn the camera
Yea, this probably makes him realy strong. I wonder if he drserves this, coz before his gameplay was representing running a maraphon after shooting yourself in a leg.
Just to be clear, you spent 8 minutes talking about how it’s better to not justify your reasoning because people will argue instead of just saying something along the lines of, “it just makes the killer brainless”. Pretty good example could be like “imagine if in rainbow six the cameras always locked onto operators”
That auto aim in biopods and when out of the bio pod just bothers me so much its so easy the fact the devs hate hard killers and make them more accessible cause people refuse to learn Singularity, the amount of people i see say finally i can play Singularity now cause he’s easy want the easy way to learn them on baby mode, the day that Wesker or unknown get easier im done with dbd.
honestly i dont like it but after thinking about it, they make surv braindead and not having to learn to get better so im not surprised they do it to killer. but whats the point cause surv gon complain and they nerf it
If they made the first person controls on console not dogshit it’d go a long way. Right now there’s just a basic sensitivity slider but no dead zone, response curve, aim acceleration, etc settings.
I personally don't see an issue making some killer powers like lerry his cam felt clunky. I dont veiw being able to handle a clunky conrols as skill. I remembered the hell of 4 years of billy pain
Lets be real nobody was playing singularity. Not because hes hard but because using its power just took too much energy now its bit more chill and actually playable
