High key Zane just channeling Kronk 😂 With the “medical care” and the “food” no one’s gonna even have to be killed by an alien to die! A lightsaber bayonet would be phenomenal!!! The second they found Julia I knew she had been face hugged. There was no way she would be left alive when other people around her had been killed unless she had an alien in her. That was a little sus Tyson wanting to take Julia back to the ship 🤔 I’m hoping it’s just curiosity…but it’s definitely sus. Great episode guys! Super suspenseful and creepy!
Haha ya his Kronk voice is pretty spot on! Sadly though his medical care is not so much Haha! Ya it for sure was a little suspicious finding her alone like that, but what a great introduction to the Xenomorphs! Am I right?! Also, I think you might be on to somethings. We should for sure keep our eye on Dr. Thompson. You can never really trust those Weyland Yutani Corporation guys. Glad that you liked it though! I can't wait for episode 2!
The Kronk voice! I love it so much. Such a great episode! I really enjoy these one-shots of other systems. What other systems have you guys tried? Somehow I knew from the beginning that something bad was going to happen to Jenkins... Can't wait for the next episode. This is going to be a wild ride.
Zane's Kronk voice is on point for sure! We're glad you liked the episode though! It was so fun to do and Connor did a great job GMing for the first time! I like the one-shots as well. Good call on the Jenkins thing! Haha I didn't see that one coming. As far as other systems go: A few of us have been playing D&D since 3.5 (if you count those as other systems) we've done Alien (of coarse), and Call of Cathulu. Those are the ones we've played together, I know a few have done other systems like Monster of the Week and a couple of homebrewed D20 systems as well. However, there are a lot that we would like to try! I'm excited for the new DC20 system, Mothership, Mork Borg, Vampire the Masquerade, and I've heard a lot of good things about Shadowdark and Pathfinder. Those are a few off the top of my head that I would like to try sometime, and hopefully on our show as well. Do you have any other systems that you like? Or other ones you would want us to try out? We're glad that you like it though! We are excited for episode 2!!
I listened to this over the course of 3 or so days, so by the end I totally forgot that it was Connor's first time GMing! You did a great job! I think y'all might enjoy delta Green, it has some similar vibes to CoC and alien. I've only played it once in a 1.5 hour one-shot, but it was fun. Also, I can't stop thinking about how unfazed Tyson's character was upon entering the lab... Definitely something going on there.

Conner! Excellent job DMing! The suspense was palpable! Dr. Ethan Carter trying to give morphine for nausea was so funny 😂 I feel like he spent too much time around those space marines and forgot other meds 😂 But Jenkins was a big tough space marine. He deserves something just as tough as he is, next time try dilaudid or fentanyl. Way stronger than morphine. Needless to say I don’t think he is a DO he is for sure an MD. Also rip Jenkins. Tyson’s character is super sketchy… I feel like there is always a character in the Alien movies that knows way more than they let on and this is Tyson’s character. Dr. Thompson knows way more than he is sharing and is way more concerned about company property than he should be in a life and death situation. It might be Tyson and Conner’s turn to set up secret pacts instead of Zane and Jeff. Poor Jeff’s character. The only lead for his sister is now dead. I wonder if we’ll see her in the next episode. I would love if every medical type facility had a plasma burner or the like. I think you were looking for the word autoclave, but I’m not sure. Good thinking though! I like how the sergeant looks out for everyone and not a lot escapes his eye. He is an observant one for sure.
There's always got to be 1 sketchy Wayland Yutani Corp. worker, that's just how it goes. But we should for sure keep our eyes on him. That's true though! It is usually Zane or Jeff's characters who are sketchy...I guess there still is time for Zane's character to show his true colors. You never know! haha I am interested to see what happens with Jeff's character's sister. That will be an interesting thing to throw in the mix. Connor is doing a great job GMing! I am excited to see where this all goes!
