Silhouette Print and Cut with the Curio 2 on 12" x 12" cardstock using the ES (electrostatic) mat.

The flat bed also helps with this as well. At least it eliminates some things that could cause issues with a rolling mat. Less room for errors... unless your page moves of course - lol!

Can you do print n cut without bleed so we can see exactly how well it cuts out the designs based on their original outside line then hold a few of the designs up se we can clearly see the result cuts without an added border around the outside edge? Thanks

Does cutting through all the way leave a mark on the mat? Will these marks cause inaccurate cuts? 🤔

Yes, just like on a cutting mat. No, so far, it has not affected it. You shouldn't be cutting deep enough to feel it. Eventually, you will need to replace the ES protective mat, but it should last awhile if you aren't cutting too deep.

The Curio 2 is a stationary flat bed cutting system. That has a 12"x12" cuttable area. It has a 20 mm clearance so it can accommodate thicker materials. The cutting depth is 3 mm like the other machine because that's what the tools are. The new electrostatic bed is included. It can etch on acrylics, metal, etc. New tools too like the power engraver, heat pen, embossing tools, and leather (not real leather) punch. The Cameo can cut longer than 12" and can cut matless off a roll.
