When I log in to my Silhouette account, they at least have my business license key and my Cameo listed, but none of my orders. It says I have not placed any orders yet (which I have placed many over the last several years) and no download option. I have my older purchases backed up, but not the most recent ones. What a mess they have created. 🙄 Thank you for doing everything you have done to help us navigate this disaster. 👍🏼😊
This is week two now of me having access again to my library. I even regained access to my "professional" version of Studio. And luckily, after a major set-back with my liberary two years ago, I'd already taken the measures Melissa suggested - save all your adjustments and personal files somewhere other than in the library. Which makes it a bit ridiculous that you get more space in their (unsafe) cloud the more you create yourself ... I have 10 GB space through upgrading to Silhouette Studio Professional, but why should I use it when I have to save a back-up version every darn time? Now, you all know that already. Here's for something new. NONE of the designs that are RETIRED will sync to my library. That is my EDUCATED GUESS, because for every single item that won't sync properly, I can't find the item no in the store. But I may be completely wrong. The other group of items that won't sync so far is bar codes. That is an advanced topic, I know, but it is rather hurtful to those who paid for having this feature. Hang in, everybody. They will come back to making it the best free software available, I am certain. @Melissa: I found out which two of my three devices to deactivate. Every time I turn off my PC and turn it on again, Silhouette Design Studio congratulates me on having a new device and is so happy to provide me with lots of extra designs that came free with my machine (SC4) - years ago! I was hoping you'd be able to shed some light on this, as I said before. I do not want to become a member of Silhouette School as I consider myself to advanced for most of your topics, but have asked you in the past for a "buy me a coffee" option to make up for the times I do rely on you.
This makes me so sad. It's been almost 2 months. I've been a Silhouette user since their first Cameo. Always loved them. I'm not jumping ship, but not sure if they can survive this. I haven't used my machine since this all began. Too much hassle. Not sure they will have new customers anytime soon. Sigh.
I am having a problem with the “maximum devices” also. I only had three devices on it, but I went ahead and deactivated two of them and it still says I have reached the maximum. Can someone please help??????? Silhouette America and all of that…. There’s no help from them!!!!!!!!!
If you can't get around that warning do this: You can use Silhouette Studio without signing in and without accessing the library right now. To do so, close Silhouette Studio and disconnect your computer from the WIFI network. Then relaunch Studio. So of course they still make my credits expire but today is the first time I've been able to log in since May AND I can only log in on my cellphone. I've tried all of Melissa's tricks and nothing works.
I've tried to download my designs from the Silhouette Design store. My library actually says it's syncing, but it is not showing my my newly purchased designs. When I try to download them manually, they are not downloading as a studio file; rather they are downloading as a document file! I bought 4 yesterday. They all said studio files in the store. One downloaded as a studio file that I could open in the studio software. I cannot open the other three. I followed all of these trouble-shooting tips. It's so frustrating! I'm trying to finish stuff in my classroom before students arrive next week! Has anyone else experienced this problem?
My library just emptied out! And I can't sign because it says I have reach maximum devices. I can sign in to everything else but not the library, so the email & password are right. I tried to find you tubes on how to remove deactived devices but I have go to silhouetteamerica so they can do it. Of course they don't help at this time. Any ideas? I don't use library lots, and have most everything saved but do go there so I can see fonts and other occasions. I even went to settings, over to advanced tab & clicked reset library permissions.

Thank you so much for the reply. One day I clicked on the library and it worked for the most part. The Silhouette team has turned the corner. Lots of people's problems might be older computers. One needs at least 8 GB of ram. And they need to clean out their caches, history, temp files etc. Thanks again for your great channel and all you do the the Silhouette crafting world.
Mine keeps saying to upgrade but it never upgrades so I just hit later. I can’t see my orders, downloads, and couldn’t see nothing in my library at a point. I am thankful that my business license is still there.
Hi, I'm new to the community. I purchased something from the silhouette studio. I'm not sure if I selected SVG at purchase, I'm not sure what that means. But I did download the file, unzipped and extracted the files. When I try and open them it tells me that the file is not supported. I'm on a Windows. Any tips?

My entire library is gone. :( Hundreds of designs vanished because of sync-gate :( I've got the first cameo that came out and had no issues before this. What can I do to get them back or will I have to face up to the fact that they files are gone forever. HHHEEELLLPPPP
