Hi @Solid Content I've been playing this since it came out.. So much has been improved such as the ability (when your Commander) to now just jump into individual units in FPS mode. It's becoming really popular and the Dev is going from strength to strength with improvements. It's so much fun honestly with a fun community. For me the game changer was definitely being able to jump into FPS from anywhere on the map. You should do another run through... I think you'll be very impressed.
Weird, 40min match and alien didn't have any other unit aside from lesser units. I assume some of their shrimps are stop working. I experienced that before one way to fix is to order them to change where to harvest bio and do not build another bio cache too close to the harvest point. Ofc you can press T to change to alien side while playing single player and fix that yourself. But I think many AI issues will be fixed in like after couple of months
This is a bit like a very old game, i forget what it was called. You could switch betwean the RTS play and the FPS/tank/flight sim as you play. And Other players could join in and drive tanks and stuff. Also Have you played any of the homeworld games, you might like deserts of kharak.
I'm not seeing any big armies in gameplay yet. Only small groups of units. Is it possible to build big rushes like the CnC days? I want to do that and then join the battlefield
The big problem I see is that in the late game the only things you'll see are the heavy tanks. They are broken. To much health and still very strong against both vehicle and infantry. They make any lesser tank and infantry obsolete and because of that nobody builds more of the lesser units.

@@SolidContent Nope - i caved in and got it... when you press T you chose between commander (rts style) and infantry (fps mode) and then you can switch back at any time by pressing T again.
love to see more races like warhammer40k :) robots /borg /terminators/ & protos /tauw /predators & demonic/ chaos/ undead cultist VamPirates /madMax .....& maybe heroe units with skill trees + better kits
yesssssssss, that would be sick - seems like a good foundation, now they just need to bulk it up with more unit options. Would love to see a SC style siege tank, one where you have to deploy it, so it's a bit vulnerable... but when in range, it just takes you to pound town
