After stretching out the silk on a frame, I start painting with a brush, without a clear-cut plan or idea. Sometimes I use an airbrush and sometimes I combine different techniques. It’s as if the colours choose themselves as they fill the surface in random patterns. Working like this, I thoroughly enjoy the surprise of the result created by the many layers of transparent paint.
