I live in the Metropolitan Detroit surburan area However, I will travel for great service and education for healthy hair. I wear my natural hair and curls which is high porosity. OH YEA, and we are all different so find out your porosity this here 🔑

I realized that the cool water would never fully penetrate my hair shaft, so I tried warm water and it started to work. I also noticed that my hair took FOREVER to dry, and everything made sense when I did the water test. I changed my weekly washday routine to fit a low-porosity regime and incorporated products from @curlyproverbz and now my hair is flourishing. I noticed the health of my hair improved drastically. You just have to spend time getting to know your hair and what works best. I hope that this is helpful!🙏

Yes! I appreciate you! I had a shampoo and blow dry at a high-end Beverly Hills salon once. The guy was Japanese and he scrubbed like crazy. It was heaven! I started doing that for my clients and it made such a big difference. 1) You get the scalp and hair thoroughly clean. 2) They get a spa experience. It's SO important! I can't stand half-assed shampoos! I stopped going to blow dry bars because they rush through the service so much.

A lot of this is experience. Hair schools get you through state board pretty much. Luckily, natural hair is en vogue so it's easier to find education but still, take care to find teachers that are familiar and know what they are doing. I haven't heard a lie in this video yet 🙂

@@oldsouljs8042 You got that right! This is experience plus hair school knowledge. A lot of people say they "do" natural hair but they really don't, they only do what's taught in school and then play at what actually needs to be done so a naturalista can wear her hair both straight and curly. For instance, trimming while wet...it sounds good, but it can come out uneven if done incorrectly. I think it's best for my fine, low porosity hair to clarify, condition/deep condition, detangle, heat protect, blowdry and press out, then trim it on a regular schedule. Then I wear it curly and in protective styles most of the year. Taking the style out bi-weekly to remove shed hair, detangle and rehydrate it, then back into the protective style it goes.
