idk seems like something the community is kinda split on and i wanted to see what yall think!!!! also i started a lil discord server if you wanna join!!! / discord
idk, i feel like they'd probably not do a shadow drop, but more like a release day announcement, like "hey it's (example company) showcase video, and at the end of the video, we'll do a long trailer and say AND IT'S OUT TODAY!" because considering the amount of time it's been waited for, how it's probably suuuuper close to release, and also how that happens a lot with games that people are looking for. overall i'm super excited because it feel like it's gonna be this year. maybe not this month, maybe not next month, but i really feel like this is our year.
also btw, it's really sick seeing you doing content creation and getting a lot of love for it, it's totally deserved, i love the chill atmosphere you've got, and i'm definitely sticking around even after silksong has been released, good work!
And I think they do want like a special rollout or whatever it’s called. We have been waiting for ages and idk I feel like it’s special if they shadow drop it. Idk maybe I’m just yapping
Funny how what once was the biggest gaming company in the world is relying on an indie game made by 3 devs in order to drive up views for their events. It's fucking pathetic.
@@palewyrm they exploited the community, everyone is feeding off our desperation and anticipation, and TeamCherry isn't helping the situation either, as much as we want them to focus on the game, a small tweet denying that the game will be shown off at an event (everytime the community goes into a frenzy) wouldn't hurt, that way they could temper expectations and not have every event full of people spamming SKONG in the chat and overshadowing every other indie game shown off, if TC doesn't want to do it for the fans that supported them and made them millions, at least they should do it for their fellow devs that are pouring their hearts and souls into projects that are completely overlooked because everyone is anticipating SilkSong. I'm not saying that they are obligated to do it, but that's certainly the right thing to do since their lack of communication is what led to this behaviour. Let this be a lesson to all devs out there about what happens when something that is essential to the development cycle isn't considered as such.
I do not think it will shadowdrop. A preorder makes more sense as it would allow for marketing and increase Silksong hype and advertise the game even further. Shadow dropping the game will probably not happen, but also knowing team cherry and how the development of Silksong has gone so far, who the hell even knows
Knowing team cherry? more like... Not knowing team cherry!, cause like they uhm they like haven't really we haven't really seen them for like... 5 years...
