One thing that has always interested me is how people argue. The use of evidence, the use of logic, the use of emotion, all of it. Looking at Badim, he has a very consistent strategy for how he approaches criticism and arguments. Starting from the beginning, he LOVES his use of vacuous truths (statements that are truthful and accurate, but otherwise irrelevant; "the sky is blue" is always right but rarely helpful) and ad hominem attacks, with the intent of spreading misinformation. Of course, these are mixed in with outright lies, but the use of truthful statements is designed to make things difficult to analyze properly. This is his goal with stating fireborn 'stalking him and his daughter' and 'believing Mr. Badim and BadimGod are the same because they share the same name.' Both statements could be considered a version of the truth but are definitely stripping context out of the situation. Most people who are already willing to overlook or ignore evidence of Mr. Badim's misdeeds will not be convinced by the video, so they will simply use these points to attack fireborn. Most people who are convinced by the argument or willing to support fireborn regardless of the evidence will ignore any legitimacy to the claim in order to defend him. (As a side note, fireborn does do a little bit of ad hominem attacks and vacuous truths as well. All evidence pointing towards BadimGod and Mr. Badim being the same is purely circumstantial, and attacking the quality of the games for being derivative is not very healthy, especially if these were produced by Studio Orange/Mr. Badim's students, as develops starting out for the first time will often emulate their favorite games in order to get a feel for what to do and how to do it. Of course, Mr. Badim goes far overboard to the point of outright plagiarism and demonstrates exactly why such copying isn't healthy for game development overall, but the point still stands. It's important to note that, even if fireborn is using these types of fallacies in his arguments, there isn't anything wrong with that. He cites most of his sources, and these things happen with emotionally charged topics. Just felt the need to point them out.) All of this pales, however, to his favorite element. Red herring and strawman arguments. These are two sides of the same coin when it comes to debating. Strawmen create fictional boogeyman that the debater is fighting, such as the supposed Steam card key scammers, and red herring are supposed benefits that support your position, such as the prizes the students at Studio Orange are receiving. If you were working a job, and the boss offered a 'prize' in exchange for a successful job completion instead of pay, it would be likely you would soon be searching and in need of a new job. It's his 'Elite Games' company, with more than just him except not really. It's fireborn being a crazy stalker. As a side note, while it may not seem to be a threat now, I would get with your lawyer and get something taken care of ASAP. It's likely Mr. Badim has criminal connections, and it doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility that he wants to manufacture and frame you for harassment to get your video down and blacklist you (hence why he wants to talk to you in person). You probably know that already, but I figured I should mention it (hey look at me I'm so smart).

Wow this is absolutely insane, The distances people would go to defend themselves on the internet are way beyond what should be socially acceptable. I myself have not yet watched your video about MrBadim, and yet simply judging by this response he has shown it's clear that this guy is acting way too immature for anyone to even consider any defense he would make towards the criticism given to him, It's incredible the sort of behaviour on the internet in our digital age, but that is to be expected since this digital world acts as a screen to protect people from facing the kind of responsibilities they would face in the real world.

i was on newgrounds during that era and remember seeing a couple of this guy's posts, and even saw a handful of comments trying to call it out as theft, so it was incredibly wild to click on a video in 2024 and go "oh, shit i recognize that screen name" outside of tumblr stuff i rarely know the "lore" of internet slapfights or infamous users so i'm still reeling a bit lmao hope y'all take care of yourselves and this encounter quickly becomes something to laugh at.
