I adore the original Star Wars trilogy, it did the same thing for me when I was young as it did for you. The newer Star Wars movies and shows are very hit or miss. I don't have any of the coins, though. For some reason I have resisted that crossover between those two interests of mine and I'm not sure why. I've never seen the Jabba coin before, it's really nice looking. Anyone who says it's fake needs to explain why the mint would sell counterfeit coins that *they* minted. Thanks for sharing!
Well I didn't get it from the mint, it was from a third party, so all bets are off until it gets verified, right? I think it's legit though. Glad to hear of another whose life was impacted to an extent my pop culture! Back when it was healthy!

I liked the first go round of Star Wars but the others didn’t interest me at all. I remember as a child sneaking in to see Creepshow…. That was the best memory of my mothers other kid( my brother I guess). Great coins and as for the double you can always switch it out and ask the family what is different?? I enjoyed the original trilogy as a teenager. They were so “ahead of their time” Now I feel like they’ve been done to death. I’m not a big fan, but I understand how a kid from that point in time could get totally hooked… Especially with Princess Leah in the bikini!!🤤 😂✌️
Yeah every holiday we spend up at the cabin with satellite TV it seems there is a Star Wars marathon. Compared to the rest of the crap on TV, I usually watch at least one of them. Yeah, many a young man had issues with "Slave Leia" 😳

Me too. Their lineup is fairly predictable at this point. You know what would be a big hit? American muscle cars. Something like that. Imagine a series with '57 Chevy, '64 GTO, '67 Shelby Cobra and so many others! Limit the production to 10,000. As my 17-year-old says...those would be sick!

Right there with you on seeing S.W. on the big screen in ‘77. For me, it was the Plaza Theater in Chicago. I later got the battery-operated Light-Saber and the Landspeeder toy along with all of the figures (Mattel or Hasbro?), but I never got the damn Millennium Falcon ship that I wanted and I’ve subconsciously held it against my parents to this day. 😡😂 Thanks to this video, I probably need to go see a therapist now. 🙇🏻♂️

I won't rub salt it your wound and tell you I did have the Millennium Falcon, the Death Star, X-Wing, Landspeeder, Tie Fighter, Y-Wing, Hoth Ice (something), and a zillion action figures including that elusive vinyl cape jawa. My gosh, what a childhood!
I am right there with you brother. Star Wars shapes lives! I went for the Guardians of the empire series, but quit once they went up to $100 an ounce. Curse you NZ Mint! I didn't get the Mandolorian series either, except for Cara Dune. I got 2 of those thinking I'd flip one later.....never did though. But then again I've never flipped anything I thought I would. 🤪 May the force be with you.
