💯 V.S. ! 6 mo. In and I mew I should have waited ! But right after I started buying the price started running up ! I'm not mad that it is but i am ! So i have a few tubes of a.s.e amd generic rounds . How did you end up getting rid of them, and how was the profit or loss on the generic rounds ? I didn't know ! But i hear so many on both sides of the fence. Personally I always loved the a.s.e And knew they were gov backed. But the premiums were like high. And yes even when the price went up and cloesd the premium gap i was like sure i will buy the. Like a dummy ! I listened to the stackers that put out the fomo. !!! So if i sale all of my silver now i could probably break even if it climbs another 1.50 an oz. On some of it. Or possibly make a very small margin. But I'm glad i found yiur channel and intended to watch and hopefully learn the right way. Oh ! I bought 90 % should I just be rid of that or keep it ? It's nothing special circulated couns. Probably take an L on that ?

Pure gold is the worst kind of gold because it is unusable in real life situations. If you have to carry pure gold in your pocket and trade with it, in a post distopia world, those coins will not weigh what they say and absolutely no one will trust them. The Eagles w.e purity they are the best.
They won't Wright what they say because they will become slick and smooth and you won't even be able to read any of them, you'll be able to tell what weight they started with but no one will want to weigh them each time they trade. It is a bad idea 999
Think junk silver slick, but it will happen in a month or less. At least it takes junk silver long time to start to be wrong weight. But gold is way softer.
If there was a time where we had no internet all of the sudden and people used PM again to trade, if you have a big stack of 18k or 20k, litterly everyone will want your gold. You could charge heavy premiums. It won't take people long to figure out 999 are bad.
Good news is tho, that no matter the hard times I doubt they will ever use non fiat even in the next 5000 years. I think he is just forever a store of value it will never be currency again. But who knows
Do you know if anyone tried a fake gold wrapped coin on these machines, i have a maple it shows good on a pro, but fails ring test, its very soft, i can even mark it with my finger nail, feels too soft to soft (may 24k wrapp?)
My LCS guy is cool and he sells me Walking Liberty's and Franklins for the same price as 1964 JFK's. So, if all 3 are there I cherry pick the Walking Liberty's, next in line Franklins, then 1964 JFK's. I don't bother with Barbers...nice ones are$$$, slicks are cheap, but ugly and wore down heavily. I also pass on the Walking Liberty's if they are slicks. 1964 JFK's are by far the best value as they hold all or almost all of their silver content...virtually no wear. Franklins are "sleepers" as I call them because I think their prices will climb as they get older kinda like the Walking Liberty's. I bought Walking Liberty's and Franklins today actually, 40 of them $9.50 each, and I got to cherry pick them from Whitmann folders that just came in before me...I saw the transaction.
my q is how do you verify the machine? is there a certified coin to double check the machine also why do you flip the coin doesn't it read thru the coin also how about 100 oz silver bars?
2:07 how can the machine know the rectagular dimensions of some metal bar? I've never heard of the M1 carbine, but somehow that device knows how wide and long it should be...
@coloradobiker8483 OK, I see how it knows the thickness, but how can it know both the length and width. It measured 1 of 3 dimensions, but somehow knows the other 2. Not possible.

Franklins. Walkers and Barbers have a lot of wear, and Barbers have too high of a numismatic premium. I don't like the Kennedys, since it takes time to see which ones are 90% silver. If you give me 20 random year Franklins, I can tell you in about a second that all are 90% silver. If I give you 20 random year Kennedy halves, it might take you 20 times longer to see if each is 90%, 40%, or clad...
I've never heard of this before but it really sounds like the absolute dumbest thing you could do! It seems like one of the things the dealers/content creators/ etc would get together and push. Like hey... I wish we all could figure out a time when all of the most gullible people would just buy as much of our product as possible and price it at whatever we want! Holy crap! You are right. In addition to the practical reasons to own gold, there is a psychological reason as well. I do not know what that psychological reason is.
When I started, I bought various mints and coins. When I tried to sell it, only APMEX and JM Bullion would buy it. No one else. They paid about 2% below melt price. I broken even, but learned that I need to buy the type of gold that I can easily sell. Sticking with the largest economies, like the royal mint, Canadian mint, and US Mint provide the best liquidity.
