Some of the greatest hard enduro tracks in the southern hemisphere were had at the first round of the 2023 Australian Hard Enduro Championships.
This was our 3rd attempt at the race and while we didn't make the finish line this year due to being old (or just not fit enough!), I was very happy with how the ride went on the skills/technical abilities front.
Struggled on every downhill with my sore wrist (see the high-embarrassing stack in the prologue), and every little log jarred it more. After 3.5 hours out on the course (2 hours sitting in queues), I'd run out of water and also out of f$%ks. But every minute until then was an absolute cracker!
Maybe next year?!
