I am really disliking Japanese zoos. This enclosure is too small for this family. Then you got the same with Momotaro's family. Momotaros belongs to a Japanese zoo, so the poor thing doesn't have too much choice, but Shabani's owner is Apenhuel; they should do something about these conditions. I am not against enclosures where these beautiful animals are protected, and obviously, they cannot live in the wild if born in captivity, but the least we owe them is to have a big enough, decent place to live.

I agree 💯. This zoo is not well planned for these animals...too small, not enough vegetation, water fall etc. Shabani needs a new wife...Nene is sooo old and AI has a weird personality and not interested in having babies( poor mother) and not interested in Shabani. The zoo is negligent in taking correct care of these gorillas.

Having been to Japan recently and visited Ueno, Kyoto and Higashiyama zoos I can attest to the fact that they are much bigger enclosures than they appear. Kyoto zoo is the smallest of the 3 but still much bigger than it appears on video due to the limitations of videoing itself. However, they are working on an expansion to the gorilla house. Both Ueno and Higashiyama are quite large and comparable to the USA zoos I've been to. Remember, they also have indoor parts and private areas away from the public. This zoo spent around 6 billion yen to build this new enclosure. They have planted plants many times, but Kiyo has always pulled them out. It is also a fairly new enclosure so it takes time for trees to grow to maturity.

Go to the Zoo and protest. Start a petition if you think it's so awful. These animals have much better lives than most peoples pets, food and good healthcare. You need some perspective!

At 11 years old, a male gorilla is an adult, the alpha male is young and his son is challenging him through the only female. It will end badly if the silverback stops tolerating the presence of another male even if it is his own son, it is the law of nature and the zoo is very irresponsible by letting this situation happen.

@@mikeswife5298 He wouldn't get a wife straight away anyway. There's literally loads of silverbacks in bachelor groups on the waiting list for wife's. Kiyo might go in a bachelor group with Gentaro, Kintaro, Jabali and Ringo and be on a waiting list

They don't seem to have a plan in place to move him out. Until a serious injury happens and that will be coming soon by the way things are going The zoo is 100% at fault here

Kyo is so unique. He is the son and grandson of a legend. with such a sweet and fun personality It's sad to see this situation with his dad like this. But Shabani has endured enough, including the females being against her and leaving Shabani aside. I hope he soon has his own family and Shabani a new female Annie deserves a family too. The situation worsens as the days go by.

They need more room. It's so small for that many gorillas. An no real trees. I'm happy they were rescued but it's cramped.

Imagine being stuck somewhere there's always screaming kids, people making loud noises... And you can never leave. Seems like a nightmare or even torture to me.

Glad to see Shabani being first through the door, he should make that a permanent thing. He doesn’t seem to care if Ai or Annie goes in front of him, but Kiyo should not be first because it seems little things like that make him think he’s the leader. Shabani is making sure they know who’s boss, while still being his sweet self. Good thing it wasn’t Annie that Kiyo slapped or it would’ve been a lot worse😅 but still he made sure to stick up for Ai❤️

This has gone on long enough, time to get your shit together & move Kiyo. Kiyomasa is afraid now that he only has the old woman now backing him up. Whatever happens is not gonna be good for anyone or the zoo. 😢

kiyo must think that if he doesn't drum within shabani's eyesight he will not provoke shabani but he is always within earshot. wrong move kiyo intentional or not. decisions must be made about the future and soon.

Shabani reprend les Rênes c lui le patron. malgré l amour qu il porte à son fils il était temps de montré à kiyo les limites à ne pas franchir. Le zoo devrait ce dépêcher de trouvé une solution la place de kyio est ailleurs. Et je crains que ça déborde à un moment où un autre. Mais quelle beauté shabani ❤❤❤.

I have come to the conclusion that Shanani knows Kiyo's "hormonal cycles" and therefore does not take her eyes off him. In the latest videos of this trope, Kiyo was bothering "the girls" and Shabani knows the reason. She knows how to control it For the good and if it is VERY necessary for the bad. He is still the best leader of all the troops. But I insist that he should have another child, raising babies is his life, he is one of a kind.

I realize they cant be in the wild, having been born into this situation, and i also know gorillas dont really need to travel large distances or at all as long as they have an adequate food source, so im not offended about the enclosure itself, but how can this zoo not pay to plant or install lots more greenery? And also, like everyone else is saying they need to separate kiyo from his dad asap-they must be hoping the timing works out for kiyo to replace shabani, but thats ridiculous.

I had assumed a zoo in Japan would offer a more appropriate habitat with a better set-up. US shows that feature zoos, seem to favor separating the male teen gorillas into a separate "bachelor group", to avoid chaos/injury and keep peace within the group.

シャバーニが可哀想… ストレスが溜まっていそうです。少し前からシャバーニの一家を見ると気持ちが憂鬱になる。キヨマサを早く群れから出して別の場所に移す必要があると思います。海外の飼育下の動物園ではオスゴリラが8歳過ぎた頃から独身グループに入れます。東山動物園は何もしない。京都市のゲンタロウにしても同じ、日本の動物園はダメ、褒められない。東山の場合はネネの存在が気になる、だからアイに新しい子供も生まれないのかも。

Shabani's needs to let Annie go live with Gentaro. Kiyso is stuck w/out a woman. If they dont move these animals Shabani's will mate with Annie and so wont kysmo

Whats wrong with human kids today,, no discipline from the fathers..take a bad ass kid in Chicago with no father figure and mom working street side most likely the kid will end up locked up before hes 12 to 16 be in juvenile lock up,, then 18 big boy prison..its a damn shame.
