Thank you for the kind words! The ship was full but it was during covid so I think they filled the ships 75-80%. At SilverSea you never feel like there are too many people, always pleasant. No worries about gaining weight, the portions are nice and the quality of the food is good so you won't gain too much kilos 🤣🤣🤣. Enjoy your cruise, we are jealous!

Yes, for me this would be the perfect ship for a world tour! You have a good choice in restaurants at the Moon which is good if you are staying for a longer period on board. This cruise felt like I could stay forever 🤣 but I can only dream from a world cruise!

This one is hard to answer! We don't have that much experience in different ultra luxury cruise lines. Regarding ultra-luxury cruise lines, we mostly sail with SilverSea which of course we like very much. Long ago we also did Seabourn twice which is similar but I hear different opinions about them nowadays. But we also sail not 'ultra luxury cruise lines' as Oceania and Nicko Cruises. The only thing we don't like is crowded party ships. For the rest every cruise line has its personality, sometimes the food is better, sometimes the itinerary, sometimes the atmosphere,... I think we are not the most difficult people 😜 and we will focus on the positive things of every cruise line and enjoy those things we like rather than complaining about the 'negative' things. We are cruising for more than 20 years and never were 'overall' disappointed in a cruise. If for example the food was mediocre we where happy with the itinerary and the beautiful places we visited. What about your cruise experience? Cheers!

If I have to choose a favorite it will definitely be SilverSea but this also comes at a price. Oceania is very good because of its quality price ratio. We will see what comes our way! Thank you. We loves Mediterranean so we will go there again. We enjoyed silversea cruises, but we had never tried Oceania before. Oceania seems to have a better itinerary, silversea has very good food and everything is worry free. We like it.

I agree! SilverSea's strengths are the food, and more specifically the quality of the ingredients, and the personalized service. The way of cooking, of preparing the food, is different between the two companies but that's a personal taste. Oceania is more French cuisine, prepared with butter, and SilverSea Italian with olive oils. The personalized service at SilverSea makes that every dish will be perfect and at Oceania it is possible you get a 'chewy lobster' but most food will be very good as well.

Thanks for telling me their difference in food. Butter is very tasty for sure, I am very fond of Italian food, especially the different types of quality pastas. Silversea does give us good memory. I agree that Oceania has a quality price ratio. We may give Oceania a try in the future. We like new ships. We have already tried the muse and the new spirit. What do you think about the moon?

I think the Moon is the best, similar to the Muse but the S.A.L.T. bar and kitchen are great. If you like the Muse, you will love the Moon.
