The RM45 is likely going to be available sometimes in later Q3 of this year. @@Silverstonetech I thought the RM45 was either 5U, or closer to it than 4U; it certainly looked wider (tower), or taller (rackmount config) than a 4U. The reason I'm concerned about cooler height capacity is because this would be a personal build, not work/enterprise, & the cooler I'd be using is an NHD15, which wouldn't fit in that RM42-502 you linked to. I know there are other cases (both yours, & other makes) that will take that cooler, but I have other requirements as well, & the RM45 is *_potentially_* the first 1 I've seen that *_might_* match all of them. I've checked all the case manufacturers I could think of/find, as well as going through the merchant sites I'm familiar with/trust, on the off-chance of finding something from a brand I hadn't heard of that would do the job. I eventually got to the point of thinking of making my own from scratch, but as the only thing I truly excel at is procrastination that hasn't happened yet. I may just wait for Q3 in the hope that the RM45 will save me the bother of a DIY job.

@@justsomeguywashwd_jbm821 The RM45 is a 4U chassis. Currently both 5U chassis, the RM51 and the RM52 do not have provision for 5.25" drive bays.

@@Silverstonetech So, does that mean the RM45 has less than 190mm clearance for a CPU air cooler?

@@justsomeguywashwd_jbm821 4U cases are 176mm tall so the maximum CPU cooler space you will get out of them are around 150mm. If you need 190mm of clearance, you have to go 5U.

The SETA D1 includes all cages and trays shown in the video so there is no need to purchase extra parts. With 4 optical drives installed, you can still have 5 x 3.5" HDDs and 2 x 2.5" SSDs installed into this case.
