I staid mid September in site 57 and it was a pretty nice and mostly secluded site with space for 2 tents or 1 tent and a popup gazebo. Just be aware that one will be semi-close to the fire pit. Even mid September on a Friday night is still rather busy. I don't know if it is the same every time, but camp check in is at the nature center and not the gate.
I just booked this Sunday for slot 9. I hope this is the one you recorded from the view of the mountain on time 9:37. Really helped to watch this video. I appreciate you, boss.
I camped there either 81 or 82 Memorial weekend i remember we were near a campsite had a small creek right next to it lots of trees overhead one or two looked familiar but you know its been 40 yrs
You have been trying to think about where a good spot to do that would be. I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better at Big Bear for fishing action as a whole, but Silverwood might be a little more central
Yes sir, all the creeks here in Southern California are flowing really nice. Right now it's going to pick up in some areas as snow is really starting to melt off. The eastern Sierra are going to see some pretty historic floods in some spots depending on how fast this temperature rise is
Don't like camping under powerlines, and 45 bucks to dry camp ? Cali is really messed up. Didn't know Cali had a monsoon season. Where's the lake ? you should be lakefront for that money...
California has some really big monsoon seasons. They're intermittent but it can get really stormy in the high desert with some big flash floods. The lake is directly behind this campground and down a pathway. It's about a 10 minute walk or so from the campground to the water.
Bro ▪︎ California is Basically a Desert up against the Ocean. The Green area is found in limited areas in mountains ⛰️ ▪︎. Sounds like you did not know that 🤔 💥 The Spaniards named it California because they borrowed the name from a Fictional place that literally had the same characteristics ▪︎. In a Spanish Book
The tour is an overview of the campground, not an individual campsite tour. If I filmed every campsite it would be a 3-hour video. There are maps available online.
@@TroutWest im just saying if you say , this campsite is a great one, we the viewer dont know .Also a map wouldn't help us find that good site at all. We need a reference or shoutout of a campsite number, even if its not all the campsites
