Sim Racing Shields for Arduino

I designed some open source DIY USB adapters for sim racing pedals and shifters!
These circuit boards ("shields") connect a SparkFun Pro Micro to either a Logitech Driving Force Shifter or a set of Logitech pedals (gas, brake, + clutch). You can use these shields to make a low cost USB HID adapter for simulator racing, or to get the raw data from the sim racing peripherals for other purposes.
This entire project is free and open source (GPLv3). You can download the files to make your own adapters from GitHub. The repository includes the circuit boards, a 3D printed case design, Arduino platform files, and compiled firmware. The firmware is built using the Sim Racing Arduino library, which is also open source (LGPLv3).

My G27 just gave up… might be able to use these with the accessories and get a wheel upgrade. Thank you for putting these out!

Would this work with the g27 shifter that has all of those extra buttons?

There's any chance to combine pedals and shifter with one sparkfun pro micro?

Hi! I'm glad you like the build. Unfortunately I'm not selling kits at the moment but everything is open source if you want to assemble them yourself.

quick question. Got the PCBs using clone. 5th and 6th not working neither is reverse. I see in the video you have R1 and R2 fitted on shifter pcb but this is not reflected in the github kicad files. R1 is showing for the shifter. Could you clarify please? Thanks for the great work so far

I'm not sure what you mean. I just cloned the repo and I see both R1 and R2 in the KiCAD files and in the 1.0 gerbers. Are you possibly looking at the pedal PCB/schematic? 5th and 6th not working could be down to a calibration difference for your shifter. Have you tried the interactive calibration?

@@dave.madison ME being dozy, fitted R! and R2 all good. Makes sense now as they were for shift_CS and Shift_Detect. All good

Not for these shields, no.

wait what? I have to be able to cut and create my own board to do this? How many people have the tools for that at home?

Looks cool, but why? Can't you just connect them as normal?

This is for people who want to use their shifter / pedals without the associated wheel. Usually that's those who have upgraded to a direct drive wheel but want to keep their shifter / pedals.
