Not at all. Headphones are a different experience (detail isn't everything) and HD600 is still legendary, even though it has competition that is more detailed. That being said, I do enjoy using IEMs like these when video editing at night, because the audio quality is really great, and I don't like having the weight of headphones on my head, so IEMs become a very efficient alternative.
@@TechReflexhi I already have the sennheiser hd560s headphones, do you think makes sense to me to buy this iem? Sounds better than my headphones? Im really curious since I never had an iem and many youtubers i see they say a lot of good things about these iems.
I must admit, I do understand where you're coming from. I've been in the hobby for over 5 years and the performance improvements in IEMs has been WAY greater than that of headphones. What you can get out of an IEM, even at the £150-200 range, can be far superior than similarly priced headphones. Especially in the soundstage territory. That being said, the reply you got from the channel creator is valid in terms of the technologies differing.
@@f_society9151 If you have 650s, you don't need to buy IEMs in this price range for sound quality alone. Can totally understand your curiosity, but the hype we talk about is in terms of IEMs typically, and not in competition to headphones, but a good IEM can be a great alternative way to enjoy music, when you can't use your headphone.
