I'm an Arsenal fan and Timber had only just started playing for us so we can't really say we missed him in the same way as Man City will miss Rodri. Man City have performed better in games in which Rodri has appeared, as opposed to those he has missed. They secured 2.4 points per match in Premier League games with Rodri, compared to just 1.9 per game without him. Man City has also seen dips in both possession and passes into the final third in both the Premier League and Champions League without the Rodri's influence, which is huge, even with such a small sample size of his absence, also Rodri went 74 games for club and country without defeat from February 2023 to May 2024 proving his value.

City shouldn’t have played Rodri if he was a doubt.
