This one is for the Steelers fans including my father and brother. A vinyl rip from my personal collection of Simon Park's iconic song from Music De Wolfe - DWS/LP 3321. Notably used in "The Defenders" whilst introducing the Steel Curtain Defense. I inserted the appropriate John Facenda narration.

Steel Curtain,Orange Crush,Doomsday Defense,Purple People Eaters,No-Name Defense,Killer Bees,85 Bears. 86 Giants....... 70s and 80s football... some of the best football ever...by some of the Greatest Defenses of all Time..

Yes...the greatest ERA ever in the 70's NFL As a young Cowboy fan I obviously hated the other great squads of the '70s, hell any team that wasn't the Cowboys, but at 56, oh the respect and admiration I have for each of the teams you mention donhenry!!! The '70s were awesome and the '80s and '90s were great as well, just something missing today. I can't put my finger on it, but throwing the ball 50 times a game when you don't give the defense a chance...just not entertaining to me. Some would say a 10-7 game would be boring, but if you watched football and you love smashmouth hard-nosed football those were the most exciting games ever!!!

Great stuff! I love how you underlaid the track to be in sync with the same track in 'The Defenders' so that you could incorporate Facenda's narration. I think it's Pete Johnson that seems to have his shoe fly off at 2:22 :)
