That was a triple! Amazing. Simone is unbelievably talented. I’m glad she didn’t push herself to do something she wasn’t comfortable with at the Olympics. She’s a role model for mental and physical health in athletes.

It’s a double actually, the first rotation doesn’t count cause it was helped off by a backhand spring off the vault

@@carloszarzoso1724 The YDP was already on the books. Also, any moves that she or any gymnast makes must be submitted for approval. I'm guessing, if they are approved, they approve. Gymnasts don't pull moves out of a hat for the day. They follow a standard program set forth by the federation. FYI, she wins because she works hard for it. Have you seen her training sessions? She's taken the falls. She is an athletes athlete.

I love how people are saying she quit with no understanding of why pulled out. She didn't quit; the team doctor her coach and her all made the decision because she couldn't feel where she was in the air while tumbling on any apparatus. That could have gotten her incredibly injured or even killed; it's killed two gymnasts before when they should have just said no. What particularly got her is called the "twisties," part of it is mental, part of it is losing your equilibrium and other internal factors that allow a gymnast to know where they are in the are while rotating in a vault or on the beam, or floor. If a gymnast has the twisties, she can't know where she is in the are, so she can't know where she's going to land, where she is in 2 rotations in a certain flip/move, when to put her hands down in a series no connections......that's extremely dangerous. THAT is why she pulled out temporarily, because she literally could have died and they don't allow foam pits at the Olympics, even if you have the twisties. She was able to comeback for two events, but still wasn't at top form for the other two. There was footage of her practicing to try and move past the twisties on the uneven bars and she lands smack dab on her back, emphasis on smack. She let's put a frustrated yell. She was very upset and unhappy that she had to make the decision she did, because she KNEW what people would say. And here you guys are, saying exactly what she knew some idiots(who couldn't do even a tenth of what she does and don't have 5 moves named for themselves) would say. Looks like the GOAT is psychic 🔮 too.
@jobowman3144 I just hate how people treat her and talk badly when they've no clue the work it takes to do what she has done. Everyone pinned their hopes on her, when it's a team thing.
What people didn't know is that right after the Olympics, she was scheduled to testify in front of Congress about her gymnastics doctor sa her. She disassociated.
Ever since our favorite athlete : (SIMONE 'GOAT' BILES) has come back to gymnastics it has been amazing & pleasure to watch her. Plus we her (FANS ) miss her. 😊😊❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤ Go Simone!!

When you're your own competition anything is possible. I love how she's only competing against herself mentally. And with all her tribulations this woman is by far the definition of courage and strength. May continue to rise to greater heights❤❤😂

@luvmypetsrhanie1144 Are you slow? This is no different than if a gymnast made it to the Olympics and got injured at the Olympics, which has happened several times. Should that gymnast be shamed because she was not able to foresee that injury happening?

Woman, she is 26 years and married. And she can still perform these acrobatic rarities😮❤😮. So glad to say I was alive when Simone was at her peak ❤. 😊.

Being in the olympics and representing ur country is a priv ledge and an honor. If u go into this u in fact have an obligation to do ur best and give it ur all as well as have respect for the latest priv ledge and honor. It's not for the week, la zy or quiters.
