Did your client happen to be Eddie Hall or Brian Shaw? I noticed a piece that looked exactly like this in the background of some of their videos. If so thats super epic!
Did you use semi transparent stains or the solid color... I'm thinking it's probably the semi transparent but wanted to check. I've painted my flags so far but about to try using stain.
I used a piece of MDF with angle iron screwed to it for clamping and a scrap piece of wood 90 degrees to the angle iron to but up the wood against. I also had some spacer blocks underneath to make room for my vertical clamps. Thanks for the comment!
