The fact you're supporting Caitlin through sharing her recipes here just makes me SO happy! Is there a better way to honour your friend's hard work than encouraging others to get interested? Love it
Chris: How many recipes do you think exist..ever? It's growing like every second. Jasmine: Probably a lot. Chris: Billions? Me to My Partner: Man, Chris has got to be high right now. *5 seconds later* Chris: No, I'm not high. Me: *DEAD FROM LAUGHING*
You guys all lived together at some point? Omg vegan squad goals lmao my fiance and I love you guys AND Caitlin so much 😭💖 Also lmao @ Chris saying he wasn't high. When he started trying to imagine how many recipes my first thought was he must be stoned 😂
It’s nice to see you supporting a friend. Haha I always think that, about recipes! There are SO many different ones. And they are always changing in some way making them different through the years.
This pie crust is amazing. I have made it many times. If you are doing a sweet pie, you can you use date-sweetened water in the flax egg for a nice sweetness. They make nice lite sugar cookies actually.
Saw this and got excited. I’ve been contemplating going vegan but I’ve just gone through a body transformation (just lost 96 pounds) so I’m still hesitant on any changes in my food because I fear going backwards in any way. Loved this video! You guys got me excited
You should save the seeds of the Calamansi . You can grow it in a pot with a simple indoor grow light in the winter and put it outside in the spring and summer! I'd love to get my hands on some of those seeds :) You should try it !
Absolutely loved this video guys! I’m mostly plant-based and always enjoy your videos. Fun fact - First video I saw of you guys was a collab with Caitlin. I was subscribed to her channel for quite a while beforehand and then I found you guys - absolutely love you guys! Keep up the great content 💜
Thank you for doing this one. I just got her book in the mail this weekend and can't wait to start making recipe's. My husband and I decided to start picking a recipe each week from all the cookbooks we have gotten of late to find out some family favorites. So our son's going through the book to see which one he wants us to try first. She did such an awesome job on the book it's hard to chose.
I have been looking for a good WFPB pastry for quiches and pies so I liked Caitlin's pastry recipe plus making a quiche at the weekend and having it warm on the first day then having it cold on subsequent days is something I have missed as I am avoiding added oil etc to reduce my weight. I have purchased the book via the local bookshop (it is a chain shop but it is better than Amazon) plus I opted for the "kerbside collection" so I get to go out of the house and interact with folks and the employees at the bookshop stay employed while shops are shut to passing trade.
Aw that’s so cute that you used to live together! I follow you both one of you probably turned me on to the other and you’re my two fave vegan channels 💜💜
I love her cookbook, so hard to find recipes that are GF, Oil Free, sugar free and vegan. I love that I can make anything from this book without having to alter
I pre-ordered her book back in November but orders to the EU have been delayed so I'm still waiting, but soooo excited to receive it hopefully soon 😭❤️
I entered the giveaway, thanks! I think it'd be fun to use that pie crust in muffin tins with different fillings for holiday appetizers if people can safely get together one day. Buffalo chickpea, vegan quiche, pot pie... Yum.
3:30 This pie crust seems to work incredibly well! I bet the addition of tapioca flour is the key here - I tried a similar recipe without it and it didn't turned out too great ;P *One question* : is the filling a bit "floury"? I made such a quiche in the past and found the texture not perfect :D
Excellent video Jasmine and Chris making Catlin's recipes. I would love to have that cook book but I don't want to order it from Amazon but rather support a UK based retailer especially at the moment brick and motar stores are closed due to the COVID 19 pandemic lock down. I have made the decision when my prime subscription is due for renewal not to renew it and stop supporting Amazon for ethical reasons.
They all look delicious. I'm gonna try that burger patty recipe, soon. I made some a few weeks ago from a packet that were good but this recipe looks almost as easy, won't involve any additives (even good ones!) or the packaging (plastic bag in a cardboard box) and will be cheaper! Noice 😂
What a great video. I ordered Caitlin's book. However, because I live on a town line it got sent back, I went to three post offices and I miss the book
The recipes look simple and delicious, or “Simply Delicious”! The book honestly looks awesome...congratulations to Caitlin, and that’s so cool that you took the cover photo, Jasmine! I already follow both your channels, so I guess this is my entry. I am Fairygodmomma on IG.
I started watching BOTH of your channels when I was making the transition... Mostly as inspiration because I was SO, SO sick at the time and couldn't eat many solid foods. Fast forward to today when I'm not only surviving, but THRIVING! Subscribed to BOTH channels (happily) and I'd love the opportunity to check out Caitlin's new cookbook! @alwaysneed2learn on IG.
I can't subscribe to you guys and Caitlin😥... Because I already have😂😂. Caitlin's recipes were the first ones I tried when going vegan in September 2019 and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been able to stay vegan without her. I found you guys about 3 months ago and have been recreating a couple recipes since that were bomb as well, so I'm so happy to have access to YT-videos where pros share their tips to help us live a healthy, happy and environmentally and ethically justified lifestyle😁. Also: Can we talk about the fact that you used the same plates and bowls like Caitlin😆. I'm afraid I don't have any social media but you will get my e-mail adress in the very unlikely case I should win. (I just don't wanna post it here because I'm paranoid😂).
I love these testing from cookbooks kinda videos! I make Caitlin's tempeh bacon every week for breakfastwiches and lunchwiches and would love to check out her new book!!! @salaciousvcrumb IG
The book honestly looks really lovely. Love you guys and Caitlyn’s channel, I always look forward to watching your videos ! I am already subscribed to you both! @brunafmeira
I am already following both of you on here and Instagram. I love seeing you guys try out other creator's recipes. Caitlin's dump and bake recipes are amazing. I just made her banana bread baked oatmeal the other day 💛🌱 IG: curly.vegano
