I love customized & simple tools that work! This fuel system pressure tester built by my friend Mark helped us correctly diagnose where diesel was leaking into my Cummins N14 crankcase.
The best things are often the simplest; in this case, a short section of steel fuel line & a paint gun air pressure regulator did the trick.
Unfortunately, we did end up having to replace one of the cylinder heads on my truck over the weekend, but hey; we could confidently dive into the project knowing we could handle the repair ourselves AND conform the fix upon reassembly.
Follow along start to finish on the job, I’ll explain the process as we go. Most of the other tools & adjustments in the video are common and readily available.
