You both are so lovely! My boys are 21 and 19 now, so it took me back to such a beautiful time in my life. I am turning 50 in a few days and I really am suffering from "empty nest." You have surely heard a million times to not waste a moment because they will be grown before you know it... It is so true! However, your rich smooth voice along with his sweet one, the angelic duet made me smile and warmed my heart and soul. Bless you and your family.

I think the rock one is the most sensible and the easiest! I'm a normal Cali girl so I go to the beach a lot. The sand on my shoes won't be bothersome anymore! And the flower vase and the rope thing looks so rustic and classy together!

The pillow case one is great! Safer to make and you can change it according to the season pretty easily!

Nice job!! I saw a very similar vase at Dollar Tree yesterday for, yep $1. DT also sells twine that would work to wrap a plate as well as different size plates. Also saw name brand metallic spray paint at Dollar General for $1.25 last week - both silver and gold. That's basically $6.50 total for the project. Not bad. I will have to give this craft a try. TFS!!!

So so happy to see there was no hot glue involved on the no sew pillow! It's difficult if you want to reuse the fabric later when there's globs of hot glue all over it.

Hi Rachel, I was wondering if you could make a PMS/Period Survival video with like soups, facials, relaxation tips for cramps and heat flashes, etc. because, personally, I have yet to find one. You could also get the vases amd rocks at dollar store or any second hand story or garage sale. If you are just painting it.

The river rock shoe may is awesome! If you want something a bit more sturdy you can use gorilla glue to glue the stones in place! Then spray it with a sealant. Then all you have to do clean it is spray it off with a hose and let it dry in the sun!

my mom did something similar to the vases, only she used a spray paint that made it look like a mirror! she also used white hydrangeas :P loved this video! lot's of great ideas

I like the mat...I thought about using hot glue gun to keep the stones intact...that way it could be sprayed down when needed to be cleaned. Love the pillow also...I have a pillow corner in my living room...all kinds of pillows to just lounge on...💖

This really answered my downside, thanks! There are some interesting cut-off dates on this video but I don’t know if I see all of them middle to heart. We have a local distributer for like brick, and cinderblock. Inside the building they have an awesome array of rocks that are usually way cheaper than at a craft store!! They charge by weight. Figure I'd share incase anyone wants to see if they have one!!
