Your brining is only going to season the skin. How about cutting slits into the skin to let the brine get into the meal. Fun cooking video.

We are waking up at 3 and getting to the lake for opening day. Planning on bringing the mini grill. The plan is to make some amazing smells so that the other fishermen will get hungry and go home Early

Great video, next time try using some inexpensive grill mats. They are great for dishes like fish and veggies. I use them for all of my grilling.

A couple questions about this video? Do you remove the scales from the fish? What temperature was the BBq set to?
@thundermistlures
@thundermistlures 6 лет назад
the bbq was set on high, and if you do not eat the ski, then you can leave the scales on - however, if you plan on eating the skin, then of course it will need to be scaled :)

Great recipe.. The only thing I would do is remove the head.. Never could eat anything that is stairing back at me.

brakie44820 some claim cooking with the head on lends more good flavor. It could be cut off after cooking.

When the fish head is cooked the eyes will turn white and they will no longer be staring at you. You must be a chick right?
